mila's pov
it's been two days since ruels show in sydney and things have finally gone back to normal. ruel and i are stronger than ever and i have the best friends i could've ever asked for. it's monday morning and i'm woken up by my phone ringing. i check the time and it's 7:30am and ruel is calling me.
mila - hello?
ruel - get up. get ready for school i'm coming in half an hour
mila - good morning to you too
ruel - ahahahaha good morning my love i'll see you in half an hour
mila - okay bye love you
ruel - love you
i hang up the phone and quickly jump in the shower and get dressed into my uniform. i fix my eyebrows and add a little mascara. i run downstairs to find my mum in the kitchen.
"morning mum" i say putting two pieces of bread in the toaster
"morning darl" she says kissing my head
"where's liam?" i ask
"i think he's still in bed, i heard him come in at 3 in the morning" she said annoyed
"as always" i sigh
*ding dong*
"i'll get it" i say quickly taking the toast out of the toaster and running to the door to find ruel standing there with a wide smile on his face
"morning!" i say reaching up to kiss him
"morning" he says and kisses me
"oi, not in front of me" liam groans walking down the stairs
"come in" i say dragging him inside
"morning jane, how are you" he makes small talk with my mum
"i've been great how are you" she asks
"amazing" he says smiling at me
"oh shut up" i joke and hand him toast with vegemite
"thanks love" he kisses my cheek and eat the toast
"okay mum, we're going now, bye love you" i say running out the door with ruel
"bye hun" she yells
we walk hand in hand to school and on the way he asks me about my birthday.

"sooo???" i ask imitating him
"what do you want to do for your birthday? it's in two weeks" he asks
oh god.
"nothing. i don't want to do anything" i shrug
"come onnnn, we should do something" he begs
"why don't we just celebrate your birthday it's in like four months"
"because yours is soon, come on we are celebrating"
i stay quiet looking at the ground.
"well then i'm doing something for you" he says cheekily
"noooo"
he smirks as we arrive at school. we met up with the gang and they're talking about something happening this weekend.
"hey guys! party this saturday at mine" samson says
"oh sick ok i'm in" ruel says without hesitation "let's go mila"
