"morning" i sing as i walk down the stairs

my face goes all red and i smile.
"who is it? is it a boy?" she asks
"his name is ruel, i met him yesterday and we are going to the beach later today"

as the day quickly passes i start to get ready for my "date" with ruel. i don't know what to call it. i put on my dress over my swimsuit and do a bit of makeup.

i'm so nervous. i walked up towards her house and knocked on the door. a guy opened the door.
"hey! i'm ruel"
"ohhh you're ruel, i'm liam" he shakes me hand.
wait has she been talking about me?
"mila is upstairs you can just go to her room, it's the one on the end" he moves out of the way to let me in

i walk up the stairs and knock on her room.
"go away liam! i'm getting ready" she yells

i hear her jump and then she opens the door. she looks so good, like really good.
"hi!" she says and pulls me into a hug
"hey how are you" i say hugging her
"i'm really good" she smiles as she let's go and grabs her bag
"the beach i want to take you to isn't that far. we can walk there" i say as we walk down the stairs
"okay, is it a secret beach?"
"kind of" i smirk
we walk to the beach and as we walk we joke around and just have a laugh.
"you're really pretty" i accidentally say
shit. my face immediately goes red and i hold my hands to my face.
"aww, thank you. ur not too bad yourself" she said nudging me in my side.
