We just got a message last week that the red leader has finally past after being so sick.

I would go see Tord and comfort him, but I feel like he needs space and alone time.

I've only known the red leader for a year, and outside of the red army base he was a simple person. Though he did have a slight issue with his rage, but he was a nice person.

And now he's gone.

Even Thomas has been really upset for the past week.

Yesterday was the day they announced that Tord was the new red leader.

How I see it, he's really busy, but that wasn't going to stop me from seeing him.

I was already in the elevator on my way to third floor. Once the doors opened, I walked out. The halls were empty and the only thing that was heard was my boots hitting the floor.

I wore my uniform more often now, but that wasn't what I noticed. I just noticed that I look more bad ass now. I didn't wear my hoodie anymore, it was left abandoned in my room just hanging there.

I only wore the pants and red vest I was told to wear, and I did.

I didn't feel ashamed of showing my scars on my arms now, though being the red army's ripper did get me new ones.

I even have a tattoo of a //whatever you want.// and I think it's cool. It was on my left shoulder.

I was now lead to the new red leaders office. I knocked on the door and waited for a response.

"Come in Y/n." Tord's voice said, then I walked in.

"How did you know it was me?" I asked as I gave a small smile.

"I knew you would be coming, but you were giving me space. Thank you, you thought right." He said, then all of a sudden he pulled out a cigar from under the desk drowse.

"The hell? Since when did you smoke?" I asked with surprise.

"Since I became the leader." He lit it up and took it without hesitation. He let it all out and along with a small cough. "I've been meaning to tell you something."

"What is it, Tord?" I asked. I made my way to his large desk and sat down across from him.

"I don't want this now. It's hard to say but as leader I half to be straight forward. Don't call me Tord anymore." I looked at him in surprise, seeing if he was kidding or not. And he was definitely not. "It's ether red leader, or sir." He pointed out.

I looked down on my hands.

So this is it? Just like that?

Tord is finally going to put away his childish self and be more responsible and mature. This was going to be different. A lot different.

Wait, does this mean he's telling me not to be his friend?

Is this how it goes...?

"Yes, sir." I said.

He sighed heavily and looked down at his hands. "Good. Thank you for checking up on me Y/n— I mean,
ms. L/n. You may leave now." He excused me.
