Owlkit

Owlkit frowned. Why did everyone think he had scarred Flowerkit? He didn't do it. He couldn't have done it. He was in the medicine den. He had told that to snowcloud but nobody believed him.

"You could've come and fought her while we were sleeping." She frowned. But none of you are heavy sleepers! He thought, curling up in his nest.

Stupid Reedpaw thought Owlkit. Licking his brothers fur. "Why would you think that" snarled Reedpaw. Owlkit bristled. "Why else is your eye bleeding? It's obvious it was you!" Snorted Owlkit.

"Yeah? And? Why should I say it was me? Honestly, I'm already an Apprentice! Your gonna stay a kit for another moon!" Said Reedpaw, he winced in pain as Nettlepaw padded in.

"Ow! Why would you do that, Owlkit. I was just saying I was sorry for that you have to be a kit for longer. But, you shouldn't have scarred Flowerkit!" Said Reedpaw, loud enough for Nettlepaw to hear.

Nettlepaw stiffened. "So you did that to Flowerkit. That took half of my cobweb storage! Why, Just why, would you hurt innocent Flowerkit?" Said Nettlepaw.

Owlkit bristled I didn't do it! He bunched his muscles and leaped on top of Reedpaw. He raked his claws over his injured eye and opened the wound again.

"Stop it! Owlkit you stupid furball" Said Nettlepaw, hauling him off Reedpaw. "Toms I tell you" she muttered.

Reedpaw swiftly flashed his paw in front of Owlkit and scratched his nose while Nettlepaw had her back to them. Owlkit lunged on top of Reedpaw and quickly leaped off, but not before nipping his hind leg

He bounded away into the nursery and saw Flowerkit stiff, crouched in the corner, her eyes clouded with mist. "I saw it" she murmured. Owlkit tipped his head. Saw what?

"She's here." Said Flowerkit. Owlkit backed into the other corner. "Flowerkit!" Called Whiteout from the fresh kill pile. Flowerkits eyes changed back to her normal yellow colour.

"Coming, Whiteout" she called. Her gaze snapped back to Owlkit. "Oh, hey Owlkit. Why are you here?" She erupted in chatter but all Owlkit could hear was "find the pool of blood, for only it can see behind the shadows."
