Violetpaw

She listened intently as Owlpaw told her about his vision at the Gathering. "Did you tell Reedpaw?" She asked. "He knows, I've told him. Leopardpaw doesn't believe me." His tail drooped as he mentioned his failure to convince Leopardpaw.

Violetpaw put her tail tip on her littermates shoulder. "We'll convince her together" she reassured him. Reedpaw was eating a scrawny mouse, he took a mouthful of it then shoved it towards Bluepaw.

Owlpaw frowned as he saw this. "Reedpaw!" he called to his littermate. Reedpaw bounded towards them. "Any news?" He asked, Reedpaw had seemed eager about the idea of being special. She shook her head, "We need to set off at night. But we need to tell someone" she glanced at Birchstar, who was sharing a Plump Thrush with his mate, Featherstep.

"No way! I don't want anyone knowing!" Whispered Reedpaw. "We have too!" Insisted Owlpaw. "If you don't do it, I will" Mewed Violetpaw, padding towards Birchstar. "Birchstar!" She Called. Birchstar looked at her questioningly and padded towards her.

"What's up?" He asked. "I have something to report" she announced, not loud enough for anyone else to hear. He nodded, "to my den" he pushed aside the brambles and headed towards it.

"Owlpaw had a vision." She declared. Birchstar stiffened, "this is not time for kit-games, you are apprentices" Birchstar said sternly. "But im serious!" She protested. Birchstar softened, "what sort of vision?" He asked. "We need to go to the Realm Of Eagles" she suddenly felt nervous and mouse-brained.

Birchstar was taking everything seriously. "The only way to access these realms are through dreams.." he thought. "You will visit the Moonpool" he declared. "Wait- wait! We can't tell anyone" she whispered. Birchstar softened his gaze. "I understand" he Mewed.

Violetpaw felt a rush of relief, their leader was understanding. "When can we go?" She asked. "When do you want to go?" He asked. "We were planning to go at Tonight" she said. "Well then, that's when you're going. But not before you do a patrol." He added.

She nodded. "And please, convince Leopardpaw to come" she pleaded as she exited his den.

"Reedpaw, Owlpaw!" She Called. They bounded towards her. "What happened?" Owlpaw Asked. "We're going tonight"
