After I ruffled through my oak box, made from fallen branches and stripped grass I found some duck tape I stole from the store a while back, I fix my tent hoping that it won't create any more holes. I am thankful that my tent did break but only for the sole purpose that I didn't have to stay in that god awful nightmare I was having. I wonder why I was even dreaming of having a family, I was lost in my thought when I heard Boy barking so I turned around, "Hey Boy I just used the last of the tape repairing the tent, wanna come with me to get some more stuff." He barks in excitement, always thrilled to go on adventure with his best friend.
As were walking through the woods getting closer to civilization you can hear so many sounds. It's so crazy to think that I was once apart of it from going to school or even talking to other people. But I feel like in some sense most people in my town are the same no one really care for each other or even listen and move on separate paths.
As Boy and I walk up towards the old town sign that says Welcome To Joyville! But I don't know why it was ever given that name. It doesn't suit the town at all.
When I get to the towns local grocery store Boy helps me find a couple rolls of duck tape, the only thing I have to keep in mind when stealing is if someone's watching and security cameras. Once I have that out of the way there's no way they can catch me since I have created a contraption under a large hoodie where there's a stretchy material that has a slit opened at the top creating a full round pregnant looking stomach. I don't have to worry about them asking whether I'm pregnant or not because they simply couldn't care less. After we successfully steal the tape it hit me that there's other things we needed back at camp, since we were all ready here might as well get all the things that I could think of needing like water bottles, canned food, and a couple of snacks for the walk back. When we were ready to leave the store I noticed that Boy and I were the only "shoppers" in the store. I know something is up, as we approached the exit there were no workers patrolling or even in check out. Where could everyone be?? I take another stroll with Boy around each aisle, not a single person. Boy could tell that I was confused he barked exclaiming he's worried too. "Come on lets get out of here."
As we start heading towards the heart of town I now understand where everyone has been...
