“What the hell are they doing down there?” My best friend Miranda asked.

“Most likely wrestling each other, as usual,” I said. We were talking about our brothers who were downstairs.

I’ve know Miranda my entire life. Our parents were friends in high school and kept in touch; thus, making Jayden, my older brother, and Parker best friends and Miranda and I best friends. Most people believe that Miranda will end up with Jayden and I’ll end up with Parker, as if. Jayden is like a brother to Miranda and Parker, well he’s just Parker.

Both of our parents were Massachusetts High legends, so most of the school staff know our names. Jayden and Parker are following in our parents footsteps. They are our Varsity football captains and are chasing after their fourth state championship this year.

“Josylne and Miranda get your ass down here, its Mario Kart time!” Jayden yelled. Miranda and I just started laughing. I mean come on two seventeen year olds could play some violent game but no our brothers want to play Mario Kart.

“You’re on!” I yelled and raced downstairs. As I walking downstairs I ran into Cassadee, she did not look happy.

“Josy, please be some what quite I just got Lexis down,” She pleaded.

“Got it sis,” I said and walked into the living room.

Cassadee was my 21 year old sister and Lexis was her 4 year old daughter. Jayden, Parker, Miranda, and I lived with them since our parents are always gone with the collage they coach for. Cassadee was a bit of a partier; thus leading her to get pregnant with Lexis-Harmony on her 18th birthday. Let’s just say when she went away to collage with her best friend of 15 years and her boyfriend of four things got crazy. Trevor is still around, he lives here and helps with Lexis all the time. They plan on getting married when they have enough money and when they can live on their own.

When we got into the room Parker had his signature smirk across is face. I knew something was up and I was right. As I went to sit down he threw the wii remote at my head.

“Got damn it Parker!” I said and hit him in the head.

“Here we go again,” Miranda said rolling her eyes.

Jayden, ignoring us, selected the track we were going to play on. We all picked our players. Jayden was Mario, Miranda was Peach, Parker was Toad, and I was Yoshi.

“I’m gonna kick your ass and the stupid Mushroom’s too!” I said to Parker as we started the game.

“You cheated you so pushed me of the track!” Parker yelled.

“Would you please shut up and race!” Jayden yelled.

“Fine!” We both yelled.

20 minutes later the race was over with me in first and Parker in second.

“Ha, beat that loser!” I yelled and gave him my signature smirk.

“Bet you can’t do it twice in a row!”

“You’re on but let’s make it interesting,” I said with a glow in my eyes. Miranda and Jayden both rolled their eyes and sat on the couch. They were smart enough not to interfere with our fights or bets.

“If I win,” Parker said, “you have to be the water girl on the football team this season.”

“And if I win you have to do whatever I say for an entire month,” I said with an evil face.

“You’re on!” He said and we shook hands. I looked back to see Jayden Miranda with a look in her eyes that meant this was trouble.

“You cheated!” I yelled.

“I did no such thing,” Parker said. “You’re gonna have fun bringing water to me.”

Crap I can’t believe I lost. Great, more time with Jayden and the devil himself as if I didn’t see him enough.

“Parker how exactly are you going to get coach to let her be the water girl anyway?” Jayden asked.

“He’s been looking for one forever, plus he trusts our choices,” He said looking at me with his stupid
