Our snowboarding lesson yesterday was rather interesting. Let’s just say none of us are cut out to be professional snowboarders. Out of the four of us who were getting lessons, Miranda ended up being the best at it. Jayden and Parker became so worried about hurting themselves that they were barley trying at all. I was simply too exhausted from not sleeping the night before to comprehend what I needed to do to get the board to move. Ava and Max spent their time split between actually snowboarding and laughing at us. They found it quite comical every time we fell. Apparently they forgot what they looked like when they learned how to snowboard.

It was a welcomed change of attitude from the prior day. Jayden never said anything to Parker after they all went back to the room. It seemed that we had come to an agreement that night to leave things alone for the duration of the trip. Parker and I didn’t act any different from we had before they knew. In fact we kept more distance between ourselves now than we had before. It worked for the time being.

We were currently back in LA. We had left Mountain High earlier that morning so we could spend the duration of the day in LA exploring before we left tomorrow afternoon. Jayden decided that he was going to take Miranda to the zoo while Max and Ava were just going to walk around the local mall and shop. It surprised me that after the weeks events Jayden was leaving me by myself in a hotel room. Of course I wasn’t by myself as Parker coincidentally didn’t have any plans for the day.

The two of us were currently trying to decided what to do with our remaining time in California. Neither of us had any idea what we wanted to do so we ended up walking around the surrounding area before catching a taxi and driving around the city. The taxi driver was thrilled with our indecision to pick a location as the charge meter continued to gain in price. We ended up back at the hotel costing us a whopping $50 in cab fees. Once back in the safety of my room we started laughing.

I decided to get a head start on packing up by belongings instead of waiting until the morning to do it. I had acquired so much stuff I had no idea how I was going to get it all back into my already full bag. Parker ended up helping me empty everything out in order to get it all to fit. An hour later and a couple of failed attempts my bags were packed.

“Thank god we didn’t buy anything today,” Parker joked. He was currently sitting on Miranda’s bed. The hotel room service menu propped up on his legs.

I joined him shortly after changing out of my day clothes. After choosing what we would be having for dinner Parker ordered in before leaving to get into his pajamas. He returned shortly after and regained his seat on Miranda’s bed. There was a FRIENDS marathon being held on television so the two of watched that in silence while we waited for our food.

The food was decent, we ended up ordering too much leaving an array of leftovers. After finishing off the brownie sundae we had ordered to share, Parker pushed the cart out into the hallway before returning to me.

The two of us were currently sharing the space on the bed. I had given myself enough space on the bed that I could lay comfortably without ending up on top of Parker. He didn’t seem to mind as he was able to lie down without fear of bothering my comfortable position.

After watching a few episodes of FRIENDS Parker gained controlled over the remote and opted to watch reruns of The Simpsons. I wasn’t too fond of the show so I opted for another form of entertainment. The hotel room had several magazines in it but I ended up reading the one that talked about LA and the surrounding areas. I was really enjoying the articles. I was almost done with the magazine when I turned the page to showcase an article on the University of Southern California. It talked about how the school had been doing this past academic year as well as outlining why it was one of the most popular universities in Southern California.
