Chapter 2

**JACK**

I flew as fast as I could to meet them, with the cold winter breeze brushing against my face I couldn't stop loving the winter and with only two days till Christmas it made it even better. I didn't know why North wanted me to meet them there he said it was an emergency so I stopped playing in the snow in the woods and tock of to meat them but still I couldn't find them, I flew over forests and houses but I still couldn't see them. I saw something in the distance coming closer to me as I flew, I didn't realise it was aiming at me until it hit me in the head making me fall onto a roof of a house, I groaned and held my head were it was hit, I stood up using my staff to lean on, I looked up and jolted back holding my staff out in front of me to fight but I relaxed wen I saw bunny was in front of me crossing his arms unimpressed,

"chill frosty its only me"

He picked up he boomerang from the floor were it had feel with me wen it hit me, he walked over to the rest guardians they didn't look happy,

"Thanks for the warning"

I snapped approaching them,

"Your welcome mate"

Bunny grunted,

"So why did you call me here whats the emergency?"

North walked over to the edge of the roof and sighed,

"Jack... Pitch has returned"

He pointed of into the distance I looked over and frowned at the sight of black sand swirling in the sky,

"He's much weaker then before"

Tooth sighed,

"But he will be sneaky"

"What are we supposed to do go fly over and attack?"

"We can't..."

North looked at me with a worried look on his face,

"But we can't just sit here and wait for him to attack!"

I snapped,

"No we can't but he is weak like Tooth said and he won't be attacking anytime soon so we will wait until after Christmas to proceed any attacking"

He walked back over to the slay were everyone els was sat worried,

"But we can't!"

I shouted, North was about to shout back back sandy stopped him waving his hands in the air and putting his finger in front of his mouth telling us to be quiet. Silence feel between us all I looked at Sandy with, whats going on face, and he pointed down at the floor an I shrugged but everyone jumped wen they heard a sudden burst of crying coming from below, we all walked to the edge of the roof to see a girl about my age crying and hugging her knees, there was blood over her shirt,

"I think she's injured"

I whispered to them,

"Jack just leave her parents will help her"

North whispered back,

"We're not just going to leave her"

I gently flew down onto the lamppost she was leaning against to see her up close,

"Jack!"

North snapped waving his arms up telling me to come back up but everyone els just watched me. I tock a the risk thats she didn't believe in me and flew in front of her looking at the cut on her wrists and the fresh cut on her side were the blood had stained her shirt, she had strait black hair and slightly tanned skin and surprisingly she wasn't wearing a coat in this weather, I wanted to help so I tried to leave a sign for her with my frost, she looked up at me in shock, could she see me? Are eyes locked she had glowing green eyes, she's... beautiful,

"C-can you see me?"

I flew in closer to her and she gave a faint nod her mouth slightly dropped and the tears dripped down her cheek,

"Here let me h-help you"

I tock my hand and wiped away the tear from her face, she jolted a bit,

"Yo-your h-hands there so-oh cold..."

She shivered,

"Im sorry..."

I flew in closer and closer to her face I could feel her warm breath against my face, were we about to kiss? Suddenly she feel to the side closing her eyes, I flew back in shock to see Bunny picking her up,

"Sorry to end your date so fast mate"

Bunny smirked,

"Thanks Sandy"

I heard North say behind me I turned and gave Sandy a evil glare and he shrugged,

"Why did you do that?!"

I shouted,

"Because she saw you and she's hurt"

"So now you care about her!"

I snapped crossing my arms,

"Ok mate if you love her so much you carrie her"

Bunny dropped her but I quickly swooped in cached her, I gave him a evil glare and flew up onto the roof to the slay to take her back with us.
