Chapter 8

**JACK**

I fell asleep on a tree branch not noticing the time, I had to get back to the shop before it got to dark. As I was flying back I remembered Jane and my mind began to drift of into a world that I didn't want to leave until I saw the horror. There was a swirling cloud of black sand hovering over the shop and weaves of it darted through the shop,

"Pitch!"

I growled grinding my teeth wen I saw him standing on the dark cloud grinning at me evilly. I didn't even think I just darted at him striking every dark beast he sent at me. When I got close a enough to him that I could strike him North called to me,

"Jack no!"

He shouted to me from the snowy floor,

"I would do what he says Jack"

He said in a sly evil way. I flew down to North quickly and then I saw what had happened, Tooth was lying in the sled shaking with a dark sand swirling her head the same with bunny, sandy was trying his best to help but it wasn't working. I looked worriedly up at North and at that moment my heart sunk,

"Were is Jane!?"

I said looking around scared, North then frowned,

"Jane!"

He shot and looked at the door of the shop, she was still inside and it was begin to fill up black sand. I shot in quickly darting through the sand searching every room, I darted into the spare room were Jane was lead coughing and gasping for air, the sand was killing her, I picked her up in a bridle position and flew quickly out so she could breath. Wen I got outside she flew from my arms and up towards pitch,

"Ah so this is the orphan girl"

He brushed his hand I

On her cheek as she began to wake up,

"Don't you touch her!"

I shouted flying up to her to save her but was held back by the sand,

"Or what? Oh Jack don't tell me you love this girl do you, shame..."

He gave me a sly smile as he lowered her down to me,

"Shame? What do you mean by shame?!"

I grabbed her and flew back keeping her away from him,

"She and I have met before and I don't want her around... So Jack say good bye to you pretty.little.lover!"

He short dark sand out from him sending it towards Jane, I froze I really couldn't move it was like someone was controlling me, I watched Jane's eyes shot open.

SORRY FOR THE SHORT CHAPTER BUT I'M TRYING TO MAKE UP ON ALL THE TIME I HAVEN'T UPDATED AND MY PHONE AND IPOD GOT TOKEN AWAY SO I HAVE TO DO IT ON THE COMPUTER AT SCHOOL THEN PUBLISH IT QUICKLY AT HOME BEFORE IT GOES. SO THE NEXT TWO CHAPTERS WILL BE SHORT SO BEWARE OF THAT.
