Chapter 16

**JACK**

Two weeks since she's been taken from me, It feels longer then it does. I still haven't given up on finding her, we decided to search Pitch's layer one last time before moving on to another place. I felt tired from flying so I tried to walk but I feel to my knees,

"Jack are you okay?"

Tooth came up to me and tried to help me up but I pushed her away,

"Yes, just give me a minute"

"We have been searching for ages mate, its time we gave up"

Bunny said tiredly, I scowled up at him,

"No, never give up"

I shakily stood up from the floor,

"Just believe, and we will find her"

We heard slow sarcastic clapping coming from the darkness ahead,

"Oh how week you are"

A crocked yet soft voice said from the darkness,

"Pitch?"

North asked drawing his swords,

"You wish, I'm fare worse"

A girl stepped out of the darkness wearing a black dress, she was pale and bony her hair was white and was covering her face, she held a sharp pointy staff that she pointed at us to attack,

"Who are you?"

I gained a bit of strength to hold my staff ready to fight,

"Oh Jack don't you remember me?"

I looked at the others and the shrugged but wen I looked back I almost burst out in tears if she wasn't like this,

"Jane?!"

Tooth cried but kept her distance, her hair was out of her face her eyes were pitch black and her smile was evil and scary,

"What has he done to you?"

North walked over to her but shot her hand towards him shooting ice from her hand sending him flying back,

"North!"

Bunny rushed to help him,

"Oh quite your pity your lucky I didn't, besides I'm here to kill him..."

The pointed at Jack and smirked,

"No Jane this isn't you he's controlling you!"

I shouted at her,

"Oh shut up!"

She ground with announces flying over to me and slashing me with her staff, I howled in pain as I fell to the floor. I did not want to hurt her put I had to stop her, wen she flew back down to the floor I froze her feet, but she kicked free shooting ice at me sending me flying back but I shot back up and threw all the ice I could at her she dodged, she laughed unimpressed but I grabbed a snow ball and threw it at her face not allowing her to see,

"That's just pathetic!"

She snapped whipping the snow from her face but I charged at her pushing her against the dark wall putting pressure on her so she could stop breathing for awhile so she could pass out,

"J-jack... Nu-no"

She cried squeezing her eyes with pain, but wen she opened them her eyes were back to silver,

"Jack...please"

She sobbed leaning forward while I stopped hurting her, her breath against my face are lips about to touch but four words broke my heart,

"I never loved you!"

She snapped her eyes going back to black and shooting me back and now she was in the same place I was but she was going to kill me. She froze my arms and legs to the wall, I saw Tooth, Sandy, north and bunny be frozen to as the tried to help me, they tried to break there feet free but there was no use. She placed her hands on my face and on my heart shooting painful ice through my skin sending me to a long painful death,

"Good bye... Jack frost"

She let go and I dropped to the floor in pain I couldn't scream or move or it will hurt more. I watched her go over to Norths slay and take out a globe that showed the Shop, she dropped it on floor and pushed the slay and the others into it, she walked over to me dragging my almost lifeless body to the portal,

She closed her eyes then opened them  her eyes were back to normal she whispered into my ear before pushing me in,

"Wait for me"

A tear fell from eye and onto my cheek. She pushed me into the portal as my eyes fell shut. Was I dead?
