Chapter 23

**JANE**

"Jack"

I whispered to myself as he left the room, I couldn't understand what I was supposed to do to make me see him all the time not just when things are at its worst. I looked at the ring then at Tooth then North, I picked it up and noticed it glowing,

"Guys did you see Jack what's made him so glum?"

Bunny walked in with sandy who had a question mark over his head,

"What do you think?"

Tooth said nodding her head towards me that's when everyone noticed I had the glowing ring in my hand,

"Jane?"

North said looking worried but I was to deep in thought to answer,

"Jane were did you get that?"

Tooth asked, but again I did not answer. The ring seemed to be connected to everything that's happens ever since I put it on and I...,

"I know what I have to do!"

I screamed jumping up from my chair,

"Jane are you ok wh..."

Before Tooth could finished I slipped the ring and closed my eyes and felt the ice swerve around me like last time I put the ring on but this time it felt diffrent, after awhile I could no longer feel the ring so I opened my eyes to see everyone in complete shock and at the end of the room just avoiding the ice darts that spread across the wall. My hair fell across my face and frowned, it was still black, I rushed over to the window and looked at my reflection to see that my skin was pale again and my eyes were whiter then before, I turned back and looked at everyone and smiled the ring was gone but it left a big snowflake on my finger were I had slipped it on. I was to busy looking at what the new me was like that I forgot what I put the ring on for, I heard a small crash come from outside I looked out the window to see ice balls hit the trees in the distance and there branches fall to the snowy floor,

"Jack?"

I said and I heard gasps come from behind me,

"You know who he is?"

Tooth zoomed up into the air and darted at me with hug followed by North and Sandy,

"But how?"

North asked pulling away from the hug,

"The ring"

I put up my hand and showed the perment snow flake carved into my finger,

"What are you doing here!?"

Bunny snapped,

"What?"

I asked but he grabbed my arm and yanked me out of the office,

"You shouldn't be getting hugs from us you should be getting them from frosty out there mate, now go!"

He snapped but smiled after as I gently lifted myself from the ground, I have to remember how I did this, I flew out of the shop to the roof to see Jack angrily throwing ice balls at the trees but I frowned when I noticed that he was not only mad he was crying, tears balling down his cheeks. I came closer to him quietly and I began to here him shout things as he threw,

"I hate you!"

He screamed throwing another,

"I wish I never meet you!"

"I wouldn't be like this if it wasent for you!"

He said more horribals things then he stopped and looked at the snowball,

"I never cared for you Jane I'm glad you can't see me!"

He threw a strong one nocking down several trees but he stopped and fell to his knees and I hovered closer to him trying not to cry, he didn't mean these things did he? He howled out with pain with more and more tears flowing down his face, he was so loud I could cry and you wouldn't here me so I began to cry as Jack shouted,

"I'm a idiot...I don't mean these things... Please Jane I love you!"

He shouted and I covered my mouth trying not to cry more I don't know weather they were tears of joy or sadness,

"Jane I love you... I know you wouldn't ever love me back but I just want you to know!"

He howled smashing his fist into the roof and ice shot from his hands,

"I love you, I want to marry you, marry me Jane!"

He crys died down and his head drupped, he staff was on the floor next to me I quickly picked it up and held it tight as I lightly dropped to the floor walking over to him silently, from the corner of my eye I could see everyone on the edge of the roof waiting for me to act,

"Marry me Jane..."

He whispered to himself, I gripped his staff tighter and I tock a deep breath under my silent crys,

"I will marry you Jack"

I said in a whimpered voice,

"I love you to"

I cried running to him but he dident move he was in shock, I tock his hand in mine and lifted him placing his staff in his hand,

"I will marry you Jack because I love you"

I cried but he just stared at me,

"Jack?"

I leaned forward and touched his cheek and smiled,

"I believe Jack"

I whispered but before I could say or do anything else Jack droppes his staff and rapped his arms around my waist and kissed me, his grip was so tight I couldn't get out but why would I, are lips were moving in sink as we kissed we didn't stop we both fell to are knees with tears of joy filling are eyes, Jack broke the kiss and stared into my eyes,

"I love you"

He said with a grin on his face,

"I love you to"

I smiled but Jacks face turned,

"Your eyes, your skin what happened?"

He asked pulling away slightly,

"The ring"

I showed him my hand and he smiled,

"So your like me?"

He smiled,

"Yes"

"That means we can be together forever!"

Grinned and I nodded and began to cry tears of joy, Jack tock my hands and darted into the sky kissing me again and again and again. Everyone was watching and smiling as we danced in the sky with happiness that we were finally together and... We were getting married?
