There is tranquility in anonymity
That, once lost, one will miss.
“Life” is the cost of prosperity,
Whether famously known or infamous.
Yes to have one know your name
Is what’s sought in life’s game.
But once won, “life” is lost
Because tranquility was the cost.
In truth: peace or paparazzi
Are the two choices that you have.
But you would mock me
By replying with a laugh.
But this is not a game lightly taken.
So again, my question is this, you see:
Famous and distinctively sought
Or anonymous and simply not.
You have the choice between both
Though one more the other, you now loathe
Before you answer, remember this:
Fame is the bane of personal “life”
And there is tranquility in anonymity.
