Chapter Eighteen

** Miranda's POV **

                      ** 4 Days Later **

We were sitting in court waiting for Tinashe to come . Nobody has heard from the girl in ah couple of days which is really weird . Maybe Shes nervous about court today && decided to stay lowkey for ah couple of days , who knows

50 minutes past && Tinashe was still no where to be found

People were starting to worry so they sent 2 police officers to her house to see if she over slept or somethin

One of the police officers asked me if I wanted to ride along . I was sick of sitting in the court room so I decided to go

We pulled up at her house && as soon as we got out the car , we smelled something funny coming from her house

It smelled funny , it was strong , && it stunk really bad

They gave me a face mask && we entered the house

When we walked in the house , it was blood EVERYWHERE

Right then && there , I knew something bad happened

We walked upstairs && into her bedroom , there was blood all over the bed && floor but no body. The police officers were calling for back up as I walked into the bathroom connected to the bedroom. As I walked in , I saw Tinashe body laying in the bath tub drowning in water ! It was blood EVERYWHERE && cuts all over her body ! It was awful , you could tell she was murdered && that she died a painful death ! I didn't know what to do , my heart was pounding like I was having a panic attack ! All I could do was scream

The police officers heard my screams && ran into the bathroom . I just fainted

When I woke up , I barley remembered what happened ! I was laying in the ambulance , they were putting Tinashe in a body bag , there was a lot of police there , the news was there , I was just so confused

When everyone notice I had awoken , a whole bunch of reporters ran over to me

" Miranda is it true you discovered the body ? "

" How does it feel to see you baby daddys victim dead ? "

" Do you think Jermaine could have set this up ? "

" Do you know who killed her ? "

There were so many people asking me so many questions at once

" ENOUGH ENOUGH " I heard some police officers scream at the croud

One of the officers grabbed me && put me in the cop car

We pulled up to the police station && they told me I had to go into the conference room for a meeting

As I walked into the conference room everyone was staring at me awkwardly ! Everyone was in there , the judge , Jermaine , the jury , lawyers , citizens , even Sister Joan && Pastor Watkins

" Alright so obviously Mrs Tinashe was murdered we just need to figure who did it && why " The judge said

" In order for somebody to do something like that to her they wanted something from her , smells like revenge to me " One of the citizens said

Pastor Watkins looked around then spoke " Well its obviously who wanted revenge on her , Jermaine ! " He said

" What the hell " Jermaine said

" Oh please don't play stupid Jermaine ! You raped her && you knew that you were going down for it for a very long time so you set her up to be killed so you could be off the hook ! " Pastor Watkins

" Oh come on ! I don't even remember having sex with the girl ! Matter of fact , I don't know nothing about this girl , why would I kill her ? " Jermaine screamed in Pastor Watkins face

" You are nothin but a no good nothing ! You raped her && you try to use that drunk shit as an excuse ! You deserve to be locked up , come on guys don't let this man fool you ! He raped her && set her up to he killed , he needs to locked up ! " Pastor Watkins screamed

Everyone looked around awkwardly for a minute

" You're right Pastor Watkins " Said the judge

" Its pretty obviously he set her up to be killed " One of the jury members said

I saw tears forming in Jermaines eyes " I DIDN'T " He screamed at them

" I say we lock him up for LIFE  " Another jury member said

Everyone in the room started cheering ! Some police officers handcuffed Jermaine && took him out the room

Tears started forming in my eyes " Please " , " Stop " , " Don't do this " I screamed at them

They weren't listening to me ! I heard Jermaine scream " I love you Miranda " before they closed the door

My heart started hurting like hell ! I ran up to Pastor Watkins " Really ?!? Your just trying to ruin my life aren't you ? " I screamed in his face

" That man raped a girl && he set her up to be killed , he deserves to be in jail " He said

I never disrespect my elders or anything but he was really starting to piss me off ! I got really red in the face

" You don't have proof that he set her up to be killed , matter of fact , you don't even know if he raped her or not yours just assuming ! Anyone could have done it && your suppose to be a man of god && instead of trying to help Jermaine , your judging him && tryna ruin his life ! " I screamed at him

" Miranda how dare you talk to me this way ! What has gotten into you ? " He said in shock

I honestly can't with this dude its like everything I say goes in one ear && out the other .

What I was about to say to him was so awful but what can I say , he drove me to that point

I got in face " GO TO HELL "  I screamed as I walked away
