Chapter Twenty Four

Miranda's POV

                   ** 6 Months Later **

Its been a long time since I've been intouch with Jermaine ( 6 months to be exact ) . I haven't heard from ever since he broke out of jail && stormed out my house . The cops are still lookin for him but I think a lot of people stopped caring for him . A lot of people thinks he's better off wherever he is . A lot of people thinks he's dead tbh .

But enough about him , I want to talk about me ! I've been doing good for myself tbh . I moved into a house , I got another job at a daycare center , I got myself a truck , Its almost time for the baby to come , I'm ready to pop at any moment now && I even met a new guy ! I know what you're thinking : " Aren't you engaged to Jermaine " Well I was but he ran out on me , I haven't heard from him in 6 MONTHS && I'm damn sure not gonna wait for him !

But anyway , more about this guy . His name is Niko . He lives in New York but he always come to North Carolina like every other week to see me . He's a really nice guy he's tall , skinny , dark skinned , && sexy af ! He doesn't care that I have a kid , && he even said when the baby come he's gonna move in with me to help take care of my baby girl .

Niko is an amazing guy , he met Sister Joan && Pastor Watkins && shockingly , they adore him . He's almost the perfect lover except for one thing ... He's a drug dealer . I haven't told Sister Joan or Pastor Watkins yet because everything is so perfect && telling them that would just ruin everything !

But anyways , I was at home alone && I started to feel an ache in my back . " Its probably just a cramp " I thought to myself . I took a pill && laid down to go to sleep . Its like the more I laid there , the worse the pain got ! It got so bad I started screaming && crying . I was crying so hard , I got red in the face . Next thing I know , the entire bed was wet . Oh my gosh ... THE BABY IS COMING !
