Chapter Twenty Eight

Miranda's POV

Jermaine grabbed me && Symire && ran out that hospital with us as fast as he could ! He had baby Symire in his arms && was pulling me with him by my arm . I was running so slow because I was in pain from just giving birth to Symire . Jermaine kept pulling my arm harder telling me to run faster because their was police && security running behind us but I couldn't keep up ! He kept running faster && faster && I just kept getting slower && slower .

Once we got to the side door , Jermaine pulled me over his shoulder && ran with both me && Symire on him .

We ran to the car && niko && T was sitting in there . We jumped in the car && Jermaine pushed them out . " I'm sorry but Yall can't go with , they after me so yall got to get out now ! " Jermaine said to T && Niko . They jumped out the car && we took off !

If he driving so fast ! " Slow down Jermaine Symire might get hurt ! " I screamed . " Chill I got this ! Ain't nobody gonna get hurt " .

We were driving so fast I thought that we had lost the police but boy was I wrong !

The more we drove , the more cops that came !

" Jermaine slow down your gonna get us hurt ! " . He didn't listen , he just kept speeding up ! I never been in predicament like this && I was scared for my life !

" Jermaine you need to slow down ! Symire is in the car && she doesn't have a car seat ! She can get hurt " . " Miranda just sit there dammit ! "

My eyes started to water . " Look , I understand that we need to get away right now but you need to slow down jermaine okay she's not even strapped in && I don't want her to get hurt okay ? I just got her like she hasn't even been in this world for a full day && I'm not trying to lose her !

He looked at me " I understand Miranda she's my daughter too , I would never do anything to intentionally hurt her but at the same time , I can not stop ! If I stop I'm going to go to jail && she's going to be raised without a father , is that what you really want ?? "

I took a deep breath , I'm just so confused right now , I don't know what I want !

A part of me wants stop the car && just let them catch us && another part of me wants to keep going && get away so we can finally be a family again .

The cops are getting closer to us && I'm starting to panic . " Jermaine speed up , their catching up to us ! " . He pressed down on the gas as hard as he could && we took off ! We were starting to get farther ahead of them . Even tho they were farther ahead of them , that didn't stop them ! They pressed on their gasses as well && started to catch up with us again .

They were getting so close to us && shooting at the tires to try an stop the car ... I was so scared , I have never been in a predicament like this before ever in my life !

Finally , a cop car was able to beside our car . One of the cops were driving && the other one climbed halfway out of the window && busted my door open !

I started screaming as he grabbed me && pulled me into his cop car .

I started screaming && tried as hard as I could to to pull away but he was just so strong . He pulled me into their car && jermaine sped up . Baby Symire was in the passenger with him .

I wanted to cry , my new born baby is in the middle of a chase !

" Let me out the car right now ! I need to get my baby ! " I shouted .

" Lady shut the hell up okay , you your dumb ass fiancé caused this town enough hell already , you just better pray we don't kill all 3 of you niggers ... This town would be a better place without Yall anyways "

I couldn't believe my ears ! I have never been so pissed in my life ! I couldn't keep my cool anymore , I just lost it . I jumped up in the front seat && started swinging on that son of a bitch !

I was going crazy ! He couldn't keep control of the car ! He swerving from lame to lane && next thing I know , BAM !

He hit Jermaine's car . Jermaines car was swerving && spinning at the same time until it hit ah dumpster super hard && next thing I know ... BOOM ! The car explodes

I didn't know what to do , all I could do was watch with tears in my eyes .

- What will happen to Miranda , will she get arrested for assaulting a police officer ?

- How bad was the accident ?

- Will Jermaine make it out alive ?

- Will Symire be okay ?
