Marcus

Time has passed since the last time I talked to Saya. A couple of days ago she texted me and informed me of the surprise trip she would be going on to her brother's university. He had this important football game this Friday. Her parents did not want to miss it, but it hadn't occurred to me that she would be staying the entire week.

In the paragraph she sent me, she made it clear that she wouldn't be on her phone due to the fact her parents wanted as much family time as they could get while they were visiting. She hasn't messaged me since and I did not want to bother her or look thirsty.

It's been three days and I already miss her. We aren't even together and I feel such a strong attraction for her. I can't help it.

I was sitting in my room, surrounded by the homework worksheets. The gloom and rain outside did nothing but add to the depressed state I was in. With a sigh, I rose from the bed, almost tripping on the pencil on the ground. The dim lamps on either side of my headboard were the only light source in my room at the moment. Making the room appear darker than it already was.

"I should add more to this room." I thought to myself. Sure it looks nice but it's also a bit empty. I could put up a few posters or something up to add life. I glanced over the room again, shrugging briefly before leaving the room entirely.

My stomach growled as I descended the stairs, I found myself in the kitchen scavenging for something I could just eat without having to cook. At this moment in time, the amount of effort needed to make a decent meal was unimaginable.

I glanced up at the time on the microwave and thought about my options.

"See, I could just cook something up. This would ensure leftovers and I'll feel accomplished for making something," the thought danced in my mind for a bit. "Or maybe, I could just order a pizza and watch a movie." Without a second thought, I dialed the number to the nearest Dominos and placed an order.

After ordering my food, I jogged up the stairs and clear my bed of school work. Packing away everything that was done and moving it to the side. I tidied up my room a bit, before heading to the living room.

My phone beeped telling me that my order was only ten minutes away. I flipped on the TV, immediately looking to binge my favorite anime: Assassination Classroom. My mood lighten when I heard the familiar theme song. The doorbell rang shortly after. My stomach shouted in response. I grabbed my wallet off the coffee table and made my way to the door.

"Hey man, it's $17.95 . . ."

I pulled out a twenty and looked up at the delivery guy. The color drained my face in recognition. A chuckle came seconds after from the guy in front of me.

"Well, well, well look what we have here." A wicked grin spread across his face at my nervous gaze.

What the fuck is HE doing here?

Sorry for the really long break! School has been really tough and I've had sports and a lot of other things to worry about. I'm going to try and get back to my schedule once things die down a bit in school. I just wanted to post this small lil chapter since so many of you have been pming me to update. I don't know how much more frequently I can update but I'm gonna try. Thank you! - D
