I sat in the back of the bus, listening to music when the bus stopped again. This time a girl came on. She was slender with white skin. Her hair was long and brown with narrow blue eyes. She was dressed in a black schoolgirl outfit with black tights. Something was on her back, but I knew that it wasn't a backpack. That school did NOT tell me we had uniforms. Everyone just stared as she walked onto the bus. I didn't really stare, I just leaned my head against the window again, putting my hands in my hoodie pocket, listening to music when, "Hello there." I looked slowly to my left to see the girl sitting next to me. I just waved slowly and leaned my head on the window again.
Mr. Trucker took off again and about a few minutes went by before everyone went back to what they were doing. The girl took off the thing on her back and sat it on her lap and opened it a bit. I caught a flash of something shiny. I turned to see when she said, "It's a katana." "Wh-How-" "MY mom gave it to me for my birthday." She answered before I finished my sentence, not that I was going to finish it in the first place.
"Oh...cool I guess." I sighed, remembering my guitar at home. "I'm Owen. Owen Legend." She said, introducing herself. "Nice...I'm Reisen Blackribbon." I said. "Nice to meet you, Reisen and thanks." "For?" I asked, confused. "For not asking why I have a boy name...." She said, rubbing her arm. "Eh. A name's a name, Owen." I shrug. She smiled then said, "Or you can call me 'U.N Owen'. Most people here say that my name reminds me of that girl." "Sure. OK. Just call me Rei, I guess." I said. "Oh! Sure! I can do that." She beamed.
Guess I can say I gained a new friend and possibly a potential ally...depends on what she can do with that Katana of her's.
