All the while, while the Hyper-Train raced through the internet, I hugged Luna's arm, shaking from the sheer speed. Owen was reading and loud chattering echoed around us. Luna smiled gently and patted my head, "Don't worry, only a few more minutes." I gave a very undignified whimper and nodded. A few minutes passed and Luna suddenly pressed the 'STOP' button on the side of the window. The train came to a stop and we got off and watched as the train zipped away again. We came to a large blue door that had the 'locked' symbol hovering on it.
"This is to get into the school's IP system....though it might set off the security," Luna explained. Owen sighed and pushed us back, "Move aside, girls. I got this." She also had her katana with her and sliced the lock. The lock glowed and disappeared, the door opening. We rushed in and immediately it locked again and sirens echoed around the matrix we were surrounded by. "LUNA! WHATS GOING ON!?!" Owen panicked. Luna patted her shoulder, "Calm down and hide." "WHY!?" Owen shrieked.
Without warning, Luna pulled us deep into the matrix wall and police like sirens wailed around and we could see gold and black lights scan the area we were a few seconds ago. They slowly edged to our spot and Luna held our hands tightly, she was still and it looked like she wasn't even moving. The gold lights passed over our spot and the wails got fainter. They must've been leaving.
Luna dragged us out and said, "Ok..we need to go before they get back here." "Who-What were they?" I asked. "They were the school's antivirus," She grabbed our hands and a mad dash down the platform when the sirens were heard again. "Uh oh...Owen, I'll leave you back." Luna called. "WHAT!?" Owen protested. "Use your Katana. It'll stun the lot of them for a while..but for not long." Luna then let go of her hand and kept mad dashing with me in tow.
I heard the chinks of Owen's katana colliding with their supposed metal bodies and her battle calls as she sliced them in half. A large obstacle aka the firewall came into view after about 9 miles into the matrix. Luna paused to take a breath and stared at the firewall. "So..what now?" I asked. "Reisen..check and see if it's a weak firewall...I can probably blast it with a Nuclear Fist..." I stared at her, "Nuclear Fist? Weak Firewall?" She sighed and pulled up a holographic computer and looked at the firewall, "It's surprisingly weak," she put it away, "Alright, Reisen use a power combo to blast it."
"But-" "Just do it." She ordered. I sighed and glowed with purple power and smokey black wisps, my hands glowed black and purple and my vision had black frost around it. "Focus all of my energy points..." I breathed, backed up and dashed at the firewall, and jumped, "EVIL SHADOW BREAK!!!" I punched the firewall with all my might and it disintegrated. "Great, let's go." She walked over the disintegrated parts of the wall and I followed her.
"What about Owen? We have to leave it-" "She'll catch up." Luna said coldly. Suddenly, "WAIT UP GUYS!" It was Owen, calling out and I stared. Her katana was glowing brightly, her clothes were ripped and a scar was over her eye..they must've got her good. "Rebuild it," Luna said. "But-" Luna slowly turned to me, eyes glowing. I sighed and held up my arms and the wall rebuilt itself. "Let's get going." She said cooly as she dashed away. I sighed and dashed after her, ignoring Owen's yells. Did Luna suddenly dislike Owen? I hope not...
