The only reason why I ever woke up on Tuesdays were the free tacos and that was it, but this Tuesday was different.  As I jumped from my bed and went to do my daily routine, Rosalie blocked my path. "Move, Rose...I gotta get ready." I sighed, still sleepy. "For what? Today's a teacher workday." "Oh. Yay..." I yawned. "So, what's your plan?" Rosalie asked. "Dunno." I trudged downstairs then stopped. Why was she suddenly talking to me after I nearly set the house on fire with my powers..she should be mad. "What do you want, Rose? I asked suspiciously. "Nothing...I just want to spend some time with you older sis...get on your good side..."

I looked at her, "You want to...get on my good side?" She smiled gently, "Yeah..I don't want my sister killing me anytime soon." I sighed and smiled, "Fine, you have a point there," I looked down and up, "Remember that ring you wanted?" She nodded. "I'll get it for you...just this once." She hugged me, "Thank you, Rei." This was the 1st time she was ever grateful for anything openly. If she was, she never showed it. "No problem, Rose." I hugged back.

-------------------------TIME SKIP-----------------

After an hour, I told mom, who was downstairs and was still happy from what happened yesterday that we were going to 'Jessie's Jewelry' and headed out. "Ok...Rose. You gotta promise me that you tell nobody about this." She smiled and nodded. I held out my hand, which she took and hovered a few inches above the ground before shooting into the air and flying to 'Jessie's Jewelry'. How did nobody see me beside Rose? I don't know...maybe I had invisibility..another ability? I dunno. We landed outside the store and I let go of her hand. Rose was shocked and in awe, "You can-" "ssh! Don't say it aloud." I whispered with a sly smile before walking into the shop.

"Hello! Welcome to Jessie's Jewelry." The lady smiled. We smiled back and looked around then, "Rei!" I walked over and looked at the ring. It was a blue diamond ring. So shiny and beautiful under the light. "Uh, Miss. I would like to buy that." I pointed to the ring. "Oh? This ring?" She pulled it out and smiled, "Ah yes, quite elegant. Cash or Credit?" "Cash," I answered. She looked at me for a second, "Cash?" I know I was 14..but I looked 16..funny, right? I nodded.

-----------------------A few minutes later---------------

"And here's your ring. Enjoy!" She beamed as we walked out of the store. "Oh thank you! Thank You! You are the best, sister!" She cried happily as she hugged me tightly. I smiled and hugged back, "You're quite welcome, Rose." Again, 1st time she expressed gratitude for anything. I'm starting to think my sister was abducted by aliens.
