"I'm not cheating!" I laughed, offended. Daniel's eyes had a hint of playfulness in them, as he looked at his cards.
"Well, explain," he started. His head dove underneath his bed "this" he said, showing me a deck of cards he had found on my side of the bed.
"You laid those there so you could accuse me of cheating!" I exclaimed. He started laughing and threw the cards in my face. I brought my hands up to my face to protect myself. Daniel grabbed my wrists, pushed me down on the mattress and pinned my wrist above my head. I shrieked
"admit it, liar." He said. I tried to get him off of me, without succes. He kept smirking, until I eventually gave in.
"Okay, I may have thrown those cards on the ground, but you did too that one time." I admitted.
"We were five!" He laughed, as he let go of my wrist and sat down beside me. I started laughing hysterically at the memory. Daniel and I had been best friends since forever, and we have had a lot of fun times together. I got interrupted by a loud knock on the door.
"Daniel and Hannah, can you please be quiet, I'm trying to focus!" We heard Jonah's voice yell at us. I looked at Daniel, his eyes were shining, and the look in his eyes made me wanna break out in laughter again. I saw he felt the same so I yelled a quick "Yes Jonah" back, to assure him that we'd try to he more quiet then before.
I stood up, and walked towards Daniel's closet, and opened one of the drawers.
"Hey, I'm cold, can I borrow your hoodie?" I asked. He stood behind me and grabbed the last hoodie, laying peacefully in his closet.
"Ow, come one, this is my last one. The rest of them are in the laundry basket." He pouted. I playfully punched him as he held the hoodie above his head.
"What's wrong with doing laundry? Too lazy?" I teased. His mouth was now wide open in disbelief
"I'm not lazy! If you can grab the hoodie, you can have it." He stated. I scoffed and jumped up to see if I could reach it. My hands were close, but not close enough to fully grab the hoodie. He gave me a satisfied look. I looked at his bed behind him, and scooted closer, which resulted in Daniel taking a step back. I took another step forward, and continued doing that until Daniel calves (ew, i hate that word) hit the back of his bed. I pushed him down on the mattress. Our faces were now close together, our noses almost touching. I felt his eyes stare into mine. I felt his hot breath on my face. And I felt thousands of butterflies erupt in my stomach.
"Got it!" I say, as I grasp his hoodie out of his hands, and roll off his body. I hear Daniel releasing a strangled breath and feel my body loosen up. What just happened?
I pulled the hoodie over my head and happily smiled as I saw confusion written all over Daniel's face. Did he feel the same?

I was now sitting across from Daniel, holding one of his pillows tightly.
