PART 2

There, with cold and hate-filled eyes stood his best friend James along with Lily.

“James…” he gasped out, before sinking to his knees.

“How could you?” Spat Lily, a scowl across her face.

“How could you betray us like that?” growled James in a low voice.

“I. I. I didn’t do it! You have to believe me! It was Peter, the rat!” He explained, his voice pleading for their understanding.

Lily laughed a vicious laugh, so unlike the sweet melodious sound he remembered.

“We know all about that. But you, how could you just run helter skelter away from your god-son on your quest for revenge? You are the reason he suffered so many years at the hand of my blasted sister Petunia. You just had to go and get locked up, skirt your responsibility for years and years.” She demanded, voice condescending.

“I TRUSTED YOU WITH MY SON AND LOOK WHAT THAT’S GOT HIM?” bellowed James.

“You should just do us all a favor and die already.” Lily venomously told him.

Sirius looked up at the two people who he loved so dearly.

They were right.

He had done everything wrong.

He slowly reached for the sword.

He would do right by them, even if it meant taking himself out of his god-sons life for good.

It had happened before and he survived.

He was better off without Sirius dragging him down anyways.

 *****

Harry! Help him!

Harry jolted in the middle of class, a cold wind seemed to have just skimmed across his body, an even colder sensation pausing on his forehead.

What the?

YOU MUST HURRY! A voice shouted out, before fading into nothing.

Harry quickly raced from his seat in potions, ignoring the shouts behind him from his father.

He had to get to the headmaster, maybe he could explain what was happening.
