Russia
Jim Hopper stared at the dank walls of his holding cell. He didnt know how long he had been there, all he knew was no one was coming for him. He couldnt even remember how he had gotten there in the first place, wherever there was. He recognized the Russian guards, but that was all. He could barely hear anything through the walls of his tiny holding cell, but he knew there were other prisoners here.
He heard footsteps, barely, through the metal door. He heard two guards speaking. He couldnt understand what they were saying, but he could make out one word. American.
"Shit" he whispered, retreating to the farthest corner of his cell.
He heard the cell beside his open, then screaming. He heard a man begging for his life as the guards clubbed him, then dragged him down the hallway.
Hopper sat huddled in the corner on the floor of his cell, silently praying El would be able to sense him somehow. He prayed that someone, anyone, would come for him.
The guards led the man down the end of the hall, locking him inside of a cage, then retreating. They watched on as a Demogorgon came out, killing the man as he screamed for his life.
Down the hallway, Hopper closed eyes and waited.
