" You shouldnt have looked for me" Billy began, walking closer to El.

"Because now I see you. Now we can all see you. You let us in, and now, youre going to have to let us stay. Dont you see? All this time, we've been building it. We've been building it for you. All that work, all that pain, all of it for you. And now its time. Time to end it. And we are going to end you. And when you are gone, we are going to end your friends. And then we are going to end everyone" .

She let out a sob as she took him in. Tears streaked down Billy's face even though he had a smile plastered on. She saw the pain inside his eyes, and then she knew. The Billy she knew and Diana loved was trying to fight to get to the surface.

She used her powers to send him reeling backwards. She was able to snap herself out of the Upside Down and into Hopper's real living room.

She sobbed as Max embraced her into a tight hug, trying to calm her down.

"What happened?" Mike asked, concern all over his face.

"Billy. The Mind flayer has him, but hes in there! I saw" El sobbed, clutching to Max.

Just then a sharp pain shot through El's skull. She let out a wail of pain, rolling into the fetal position.

"Whats happening!?" Max screamed.

Inside El's mind, images flashed through her head.

She watched, unable to do anything, as Diana ran up the street, gasping for air, her leg soaked in blood. She watched as Diana reached her house, only to run into Billy.

"You bitch!" He screamed at her, slapping her hard across the face, causing Diana to let out a scream and fall to her knees.

"I told you youre going to play your part!" He yelled in her face as he almost ripped her arm out of its socket pulling her to her feet.

"Billy, please! I know youre still in there!" Diana wailed, tears pouring from her eyes.

He hit her hard across the face again. "Shut up! You useless whore! I swear. Id kill you right now if we didnt need you"

Blood poured from Diana's nose as she struggled to get Billy into focus. She felt herself getting dizzy as he put a large hand around her throat.

El let out a blood curdling scream as she returned to her own head.

"He's going after her!" She sobbed. "He's going to kill Diana!"

Mike ran to the phone and called Nancy before anyone could say another word. Max hugged El tight, once again trying to calm her.

Five minutes passed before the kids saw headlights emerge from the darkness. They all ran out, piling into Mrs. Wheeler's station wagon. Nancy gunned it in the direction of Diana's house.

"Load this" Nancy said as she reached into her bag and pulled out a revolver, handing it to Jonathan Byers. The station wagon raced down Elm street, headlights hitting the garage door, revealing Billy, holding Diana off the ground choking her.

Nancy upped the curb and threw it into park, jumping out.

"Hey!" Nancy yelled at Billy, pointing the gun in his direction.

He slowly put Diana down, she fell to her knees, clutching her throat. He turned around, a sinister smile on his face. Max ran to Diana's side, struggling to get her to her feet as blood gushed from her leg. Jonathan picked her up into his arms and rushed her to the car. Billy looked on, unamused.

"And just what are you planning on doing with that?" He taunted Nancy.

She didnt even skip a beat, she let off two rounds, barely missing his head.

The kids piled into the car, Nancy retreating, gun still aimed at Billy's head.

"She's mine you know! You'll never keep her from me!" Billy called angrily after them as Nancy gunned the car back in the direction they'd come.

"Why isnt he following us?" Max asked, concerned.

"Nancy just almost blew his head off!" Mike exclaimed.

El held Diana in her small arms as tight as she could as Max tried to wipe some of the blood off Diana's face, while trying to get her bleeding leg under control.

"Just hang in there, we're almost back to the cabin" Nancy said, voice shaking.

When they pulled into Hopper's driveway, the car had barely stopped before Jonathan was carrying Diana into the house as fast as he could.

When they got her inside he laid her down on the couch.

"Get some wet cloths and some bandages if you can!" He demanded, putting a hand over the giant, festering gash in Diana's leg. She was starting to get two black eyes as they struggled to get her leg to stop gushing blood.

"Hey. Hey! Diana I need you to try and stay awake ok?" Jonathan demanded as Diana fought off the urge to pass out.

"Why was he trying to kill you?" Max asked, tears in her eyes.

"He said...I wasnt playing my part very well" Diana croaked.

"Youre part? What the fuck does that mean?" The younger girl demanded.

Before Diana could answer, the whole cabin shook. The gang looked around at each other.

"What the hell was that?" Nancy asked, eyes wide.

The cabin shook again, as if something very large was walking towards them.

A sharp pain coursed through Diana's abdomen, causing her to double over.

"Its him!" She screamed.

The kids ran outside into the darkness. The Mind Flayer appeared in the distance, huge and menacing.

"What. The. Fuck" Max barely got out before the creature began taking off towards them.

The entire crew sprinted back inside, where Diana was doubled over on the couch.

They began to pile all of Hopper's furniture up against the doors and windows in an attempt to keep him out. Just then a huge tentacle like arm came smashing through the roof, narrowly missing Diana.

El sprung into action, using her powers to try to break the arms off of the monster. Jonathan pulled Diana into the corner, out of reach.

"Is that Billy?" Diana screamed at the top of her lungs, assuming the beast in front of them was what her boyfriend had morphed into.

The Mind Flayer reached its largest arm down through the ceiling, grabbing El. The entire gang latched on, while Lucas grabbed an ax and began to chop at the arm that held her.

"Please dont be Billy, please dont be Billy" Diana rambled maniacally to herself as the beast dropped El and retreated into the darkness, an arm short.
