Billy watched as Diana left his house, walking down Cherry Road back towards her house. He looked at the clock. 8:30pm. He grabbed the keys to the Camaro and headed outside. He drove to the edge of Hawkins until he hit Brimborn steel works. He slammed the door to the Camaro and headed into the darkness of the mill, down the same set of stairs he had been dragged down a few days before. When he reached the bottom he locked eyes with Heather Holloway, or at least what was left of her.
The same darkness that consumed him had taken her as well. A few other Hawkins residents had apparently joined them, thanks to Heather.
"I see you have been busy this evening" Billy commented.
The creature that used to be Heather smiled grimly.
"What happened to your hosts play thing?" It asked.
Billy ran a hand through his long blonde hair.
"There were a few...complications" he said, unamused.
"Complications?" Heather asked.
"She has a friend. I was expecting to take her this evening until that woman showed up. My hosts sister was also there...along with the psyonic" he explained.
"You saw the girl with the abilities? Did she recognize you?" Heather asked.
"Of course not. She sensed nothing." He said.
"How are you going to get your hosts partner now?" Heather asked.
"I attained her in another way. I planted a seed. She'll be ours soon enough" Billy explained.
"And what of the friend?"
"The friend must die" Billy said.
Inside his head, Billy watched it all play out while he sat on his bed, in a pitch black area with water on the ground. It played like a movie reel on a television screen. He was unable to control himself. The monster had taken him over entirely. He watched helplessly as the monster used his body to have sex with Diana. He watched helplessly as the Monster had kidnapped Heather. And now he watched as the monster planned to kill.
"I plan on taking care of it tonight. I can track her. It'll be over before dawn" Billy said as he headed back the way he'd came.
In the dark woods where Hopper lived, Corinne parked her car out front of the cabin.
"Are you guys sure youre going to be ok here tonight? You seemed pretty spooked back there" Corinne asked.
El nodded. "We're fine" the young girl offered her a smile.
Corinne raised her eyebrows "Alrighty then. Be safe. Im sure I'll see you two soon enough"
As the two girls sprinted into the cabin, Corinne started the car. By the time she arrived home it was almost 9:30. She noticed her mother was gone again, and she silently wondered what man she was out with this time. As she walked in the darkness towards the house, a chill ran up her spine. She stopped at the door and looked around but saw no one. She unlocked the door and headed inside.
She put a TV dinner into the oven and was about to head up to her room to change when she heard music coming from upstairs.
She stopped dead, knowing full well her mother was not home.
"What the hell" she mumbled to herself as she grabbed a kitchen knife from its holder. She slowly crept up the steps as silent as she could. The closer she got the better she could hear the music.
She looked through the tiny crack of her bedroom door but saw nothing. She quickly took a deep breath and kicked open the door, knife drawn back. She saw her record playing spinning the Police's "Every Breath You Take" in the corner of her room. Goosebumps danced across her flesh as she heard her heartbeat in her ears.
She saw her orange phone sitting on her night stand, all she had to do was reach it and she could call 911 in case there was someone in the house.
She took a deep breath and made a break for it, but nobody intercepted her. She looked around the room and saw no one. She flicked on her bedside lamp, setting the kitchen knife down on the bed beside her, and picked up the receiver.
"God, Corinne you need to stop being so paranoid" she whispered to herself.
"911 what is your emergency?" The dispatcher on the other end asked.
"Hi! I think there was someone in my house! I came home and there was music and Im just kind of nervous and.."
Before Corinne could finish her sentence, Billy picked up the kitchen knife and slit her throat ear to ear.
She let out a curdling wail as she reached for her throat.
He stepped back into the dim light of the lamp and smiled menacingly at the girl dying on the floor in front of him. Blood splatter covered his face and arms, but he didnt move.
Tears slid down her cheeks as she looked into his eyes. "Billy..." She whispered, eyes widening as she made eye contact with him.
Black tendrils began to cover his blue eyes like a twisted spiders web. He knelt down beside her as she lay dying on the carpet, covered in her own blood.
"Can I let you on on a little secret? Billy's not here anymore" he spoke in her ear as she took her last breath.
