The Agent p.2

AN: I'm introducing new characters and ships so be prepared to see more of them in other chapters and this first part is super cringy and super dramatic.

"Oh my god!" Jacob screams. Sarah lowers her gun down. A bit of the man's blood was splattered on her shirt. Then she turns around, looks right at Jacob, and points the gun at his head. Tears are streaming down her cheeks.

"Sarah, what are you doing?" Jacob asks, his expression still too calm for this kind of situation. That's when Sarah started questioning everything she ever knew about him.

"Cut the crap, what the hell was he talking about?" Sarah asks sternly, the gun wobbling in her hand. She hated it. She hated how her hands were shaking. They never shook when she was taking out criminals, training, or even pointing it at a few people who double crossed the agency. People who she considered friends. Every instinct in her body was yelling at her to drop the gun, run to him, and to hug him.

"Okay," Jacob says. "I'm not who you think I am." he says slowly.

"Yeah, no kidding." Sarah says, the gun about to fall out of her hand.

Jacob takes a deep breath. "I'm a robber, and a good one. A couple years ago, back when we were engaged, I stole a couple, well, a lot of money from a very powerful gang. And those people you took out," He says, gesturing to the bodies. " Sarah, you have to believe me when I say I love you. And the only reason I didn't tell you any of this was because I didn't want you to find out. I actually retired as soon as soon as Bryce was born." Jacob says with tears welling in his eyes.

Sarah lowered her gun, still crying. "Why are they-" but she never got to finish because just then Bryce started singing.

"Let it goooooooooooooooooo, let it goooo!" Jacob and Sarah looked at each other in horror. Bryce, they almost had forgotten about him! They sprinted upstairs. Bryce was sitting in his bed, screaming let it go at the top of his lungs.

Sarah immediately grabbed him and kissed his head. "Are you okay?" She asks. Bryce nods his head, sticking his thumb in his mouth. Jacob places a soft kiss on his afro. "Your hair's getting out of hand. Maybe we should cut it," Sarah suggested

"No!" Jacob and Bryce both scream. Bryce even puts his hand on his hair protectively.

"Okay, okay, fine!" Sarah says, holding her hands above her head. She looks at Jacob and asks, "So what do we do?"

"I have a plan. It involves going in the car and driving to Laura's house," Jacob says.

Laura was making herself some coffee (because starbucks was a twenty minute drive from here and she was way too lazy to get up and drive.) That's when she got a phone call that someone had broken into Jacob's house. She was in the car with the engine running when she got a phone call from Sarah.

"Hey, ummm, Jacob told me to tell you that we're safe and on our way to your house. Also, something about code banana?" Laura's eyes widened. Code banana meant Sarah knew Jacob was a thief. The rest of the squad would know too. She got out of her car and got ready.

Annabel and her boyfriend Simon were at her house, watching terrible movies on the couch and eating popcorn when her phone started ringing. It was Laura.

"Hello?" She said, her mouth still filled with popcorn.

"Hey, come to my house immediately. It's an emergency. Also bring Simon".

"Okay, see you soon."

Sam was working very late. She had a strong headache, and the only thing that could cure it was going home and getting at least 10 hours of sleep. She was almost finished when a loud phone call made her let out a little scream. She checked the caller and it was Laura.

"Hello?" She asked, letting out a little yawn.

"Hi, you need to come to my house. It's, like, really important."

"Is it really that important? Cause I'm really tired and-" Sam didn't get a chance to finish because Laura said, "Sarah's life is in danger."

"I'll be there in five."

Sunny was late night shopping for some cheese. It was because she just ran out of cheese, and without cheese she could not properly function. That's when she got a text from Laura saying, Emergency come to my house immediately.

Sunny ran up to the self checkout section, got her cheese, and ran up to her car.

Alex was about to go to bed, thinking about how he would propose to Sam for their four year anniversary present, when he got a call from Laura. She was talking about meeting them at her house because their lives were in danger. He immediately got up and sat in his car.

"Oh, I forgot to say something," Laura says.

"What is it?" Alex says.

"Code banana!" Laura says and Alex almost has a heart attack.

Aria hated her pillow. It was lumpy, she couldn't fall asleep, and the phone call didn't make it any better.

"Who is it?" She asks, not looking at who the caller was.

"It's Laura."

"What's up, is everything okay?" Aria asks, concerned.

"Code banana." Laura says and that was all Aria needed to get out of bed and grab her keys.

Everyone was gathered at Laura's house. Alex and Sam were sitting in the love seat. Aria, Laura and Sunny sat on the sofa. Simon and Annabel were both squished in a beanbag. Bryce was asleep half on Laura's lap and half on Sunny's, who was trying to eat her cheese.

"Sooo, is anyone going to tell us what we're doing here?" Annabel asks.

Jacob and Sarah look at each other. They're standing in front of everyone.

"Okay, well..." Jacob starts saying.

"Holy sh-" Annabel starts saying but is cut off by Sunny saying, "Language!" and pointing to Bryce, who's sleeping peacefully.

"So you did all those things, but how are our lives in danger?" She says, pointing to everyone.

"Because he didn't do those things alone." Laura, Aria, Alex and Simon say at the same time.
