Tuesday came up way to fast. Sarah was pacing back and forward in her room. Her friends were all sitting on the couch watching her panic. "Ummmmm Sarah you're going to burn a hole in that carpet if you keep doing that" Annabel says just causing her to walk faster.
"This is just a Quiditch game guys it's not the end of the world" Sam says.
"NOT THE END OF THE WORLD" Sarah yells so loudly that Sunny and Laura choke on the popcorn they were eating.
"Oh my God, are you okay" Annabel says and Sam pats both of there backs.
"This literally means everything to me" Sarah tells them.
"We know and we understand but this isn't the end of the world like we've got two more years of school left you can still beat him then" Sunny says.
"Yeah" the other girls chorus at the same time.
"...Yeah you guys are right" Sarah says sitting next to them on the bed.
"You'll definitely win" Sunny says and Sarah smiles at her.
"Let's go down for breakfast guys" Laura says.
"Are you sure you wanna go downstairs wearing that" Annabel asks pointing to Laura's Ravenclaw robes a fact which greatly annoyed Annabel since Ravenclaw was first out of the winning for the Quiditch cup.
"Yes I have to wear this or Sarah and Jacob might actually kill me" Laura tells her. Sarah nods "Yeah I don't know about him but I definitely would"
"SARAH" Sunny exclaims.
"What it's true" Sarah says laughing.
"Come on guys let's go eat. I really want cheese" Sam says and the girls all make there way downstairs into the great hall. As she walks in Sarah notices everyone wearing green or red robes based on which team they were supporting. Some of them were shooting Laura dirty looks due to her Ravenclaw ensemble. Sarah looks over at the Slytherin table and watches Jacob talking with his friends. They're probably talking about the game Sarah thinks to herself as she settles down on the lunch table.
Sarah quickly dives into her pancakes and her hands shake due to the nervousness of the big game and going up against her boyfriend. Then she completely freaks out over the fact that Jacob is literally her boyfriend. She spends breakfast eating and talking with her friends about random things until it's finally time for the game. Sarah walks towards the locker room feeling the pressure of the game.
"Hey Sarah" Kate the Gryffindor beater says to her.
"Hi" Sarah says back putting on her jersey.
"Are you nervous about the game" she asks Sarah.
"Nervous isn't even close to what I'm feeling right now" Sarah says back and she feels like her insides are gonna explode. It feels like the usual pre-game nervousness times ten.
"We're definitely gonna win trust me" Kyle the chaser says.
"I really hope so" Sarah tells them tying her shoelaces. She waits for everyone to get ready before calling them in for a pep talk.
"Alright everyone this is the most important game of the entire year if we fail this all our hard work will be for nothing, so we're going out on the field and we are gonna win"!! Her teammates all yell out choruses of "yeah" "yes" and "let's do this". She leads her team towards the field and sees the Slytherin team approaching. Until her and Jacob are suddenly face to face.
"Alright captains shake hands" Mrs. hooch says and Sarah reaches out and takes Jacob's hand in hers. She can't help but notice hoe gorgeous he is. Jacob brushes his thumb against Sarah's hand sending butterflies all over her stomach.
"You got this" he whispers to her causing her to smile. She pulls her hand away and they both grab there brooms. Then she hears the sound of the whistle blowing and suddenly Sarah's up in the air. She immediately starts searching for the snitch. While also keeping an eye out for Jacob to see if he's spotted something and definitely not because he looked perfect with his hair flying in the wind. Sarah was so distracted by him she didn't even notice the blugar coming at her until Kate yelled
"Look out"! Sarah quickly swerves to the right nearly getting hit.
"Sorry" the Slytherin player says not sounding sorry at all. Sarah glares at him.
Thirty minutes into the game they were tied 40-40. That's when she saw it a tiny gold thing flying near by. She instantly dives towards it and Jacob follows right behind her until suddenly they're neck to neck. Sarah extends her hand a little and she catches it. The metal felt cool against her hand. Sarah lands on the ground and was immediately tackled in hugs by her team mates. She heard the screams from the crowd ringing around in her ears. She's never felt more happy. After her team mates stopped hugging her Sarah notices Jacob walking up to her. Everyone else seems to notice too because they're all watching them like hawks.
"What are you doin-" Sarah starts to ask but Jacob pulls her in by her waist and kisses her. The shocked gasps and yells of her team mates and the crowd erupts the air but all Sarah could focus on is him. Okay this is definitely the happiest she's ever been.
