Sarah was in LA class bored out of her mind. She looked over at her friend Jacob, he was asleep on his desk. Mr. Eleanor was the most boring teacher ever. Sarah felt like she would fall asleep too. Then suddenly the lights went out. The class erupted into little whispers. Sarah poked Jacob until he woke up.
He rubbed his eyes "What the- what happened to the lights, are we watching a movie." Jacob asks with a yawn.
"We only have five minutes left of class of course we're not watching a movie the power just went out" Sarah said.
"YES" Jacob screams and Mr. Eleanor shushes him.
"Alright class settle down" he says attempting to regain control over his class. "Well I don't think you guys can focus without the power, So just continue talking and we will pick up from where we left off tomorrow" Mr. Eleanor says. The class erupted into whispers of people saying yes and let's goooo.
Jacob poked Sarah's shoulder. She turned to look at him. "What did we do in class today" Jacob asks.
Sarah rolls her eyes "I'm not telling" she says and Jacob pouts. "Its not my fault you weren't paying attention" she says. He pouts again.
"Anyway I wanna know umm are you fre-" Jacob starts saying but gets cut off by the bell.
"What were you gonna ask me" Sarah says getting up and shoving things inside her backpack.
"Nothing" Jacob says turning red while also throwing everything in his backpack. Sarah throws the backpack onto her shoulders and waits for Jacob to do the same. They walk into the cafeteria together and sat down at their normal table with the rest of their friends.
"Can you believe we actually got a power outage" Sunny says peeling her string cheese.
"Nope" Jacob says joining the conversation.
"I'm so happy school was so boring today" Alex says taking a bite out of an apple he was eating.
"How hard was the test for Ms. Eleanor's class" Annabel asks.
"Really hard" Sam says at the same time Laura said "Super hard I think I failed".
"Guys don't you find it weird that someone had triplets and decided to name all of them Eleanor" Simon says.
"Yeah also why do they make us call them by their first name's" Sunny says.
"I don't know" Jacob states.
"Wait guys what if there parents were both named Eleanor" Sarah said.
"Why would someone like realistically date or marry someone with the same name as them wouldn't that just be weird" Simon says.
"Well Taylor Swift and Taylor Laughtner used to date each other and they have the same name" Laura states taking a bite out of her chocolate bar.
"Wait actually" Sam asks and Laura nods. "Now that's weird" she says.
"Well I mean you don't go around calling yourself by your name, Like I don't go around saying 'Sunny hungry' or something like that". Sunny says finishing up her sting cheese. There are a few people in the tables behind them having a huge argument.
"Yeah but still its super weird" Jacob says shoving some noodles in his mouth.
"Guys do you think I can run away" Annabel says.
"WHAT" Everyone asks confused and shocked.
""I didn't study at all for this test and I really don't wanna fail" Annabel says popping a goldfish into her mouth.
"I mean if you really wanted to make a run for it you would need a strong distraction" Sarah says.
"Yup where are we gonna find that" Annabel asks and as if on cue the people who were arguing started throwing food at each other.
"Now that's a perfect distraction" Simon says. The other tables started throwing food to. Laura grabbed an orange and yeeted it. It ended up hitting Sarah straight on the nose.
"What the fudge" Sarah says.
"Sorry" Laura says. Alex yeets his banana peel at a random dude and soon enough there's a full blown food fight happening. The staff and teachers are useless at trying to end it. Annabel seizes this opportunity to tie up her shoelaces and make a run for it.
"Hey" One of the lunch ladies say trying to run after her but Jacob and Simon tackle the poor lady. There are a lot of gasps from the cafeteria until one random dude yells
"Yeah fight the school system!" The entire cafeteria goes crazy. Kids start throwing as much food as they can at teachers and staff members. Sarah takes this time to run into the snack closet. She grabs a lot of chocolate and shoves it into her backpack. She takes a look at the cafeteria and some kids are following Annabel's lead and running straight into the snowstorm outside. Sarah considers trying it too.
"Hey" Jacob says and Sarah let's out a huge scream. Thankfully everyone was too busy yelling at each other in the cafeteria to notice.
"What the- how did you get here" Sarah asks still shoving food into her backpack.
"You left the door open" Jacob states offering her a little smile.
"Oh" Sarah says blushing a little because of how cute his smile was.
"Hey do you wanna run away with us, The squad is gonna leave because this school is going crazy" Jacob says.
"Of course, Let me just shove these chip bags into my backpack" Sarah says. Just then a random boy runs into the snack closet screams and grabs a random chip bag do he can throw it at a teacher.
"What-" Jacob says very confused but then decides not to think about it.
"Let's get out of here" Sarah says grabbing Jacobs hand and making a run for it.
Sam,Sunny,Simon,Alex and Laura caught up with them. Laura yeeted an apple towards someone and screamed "Fight the school system"!! Jacob opened the school doors and they ran outside straight into snow storm. The cool air hit her cheeks like a knife.
"We did it"!! Jacob screams and the rest of the squad yells with him. That's when Sarah noticed she was still holding Jacob's hand.
