Jacob was in detention. He didn't even know why. Well maybe he was ten minutes late to class but, that's not a big deal. He closed his eyes ignoring the teacher who was going off about there bad behavior. He had thirty minutes left. Jacob took this time to look around the room. He was shocked that his friend Sarah was in here she was a classic good kid. He waved at her and she smiled in return. After what felt like hours the teacher finally dismissed them. Jacob caught up with Sarah who was about to leave. "hey" he said.
"Hi" she said back.
"You are the last person I expected to see here" Jacob said.
Sarah shrugged " I accidentally locked myself in the art room and ended up being late for class".
"I was also late" Jacob says running a hand through his hair. His phone lets out a ring and he sees a text message from Alex. He looks at it and let's out a large sigh.
"What is it" Sarah asks.
"You know the old house on Clairmot street?" Jacob asks.
"The one everyone's afraid of" Sarah says.
"Yeah that one, me and Alex were supposed to hang out there to prove it wasn't haunted but he bailed" Jacob said sounding very disappointed.
"I'll go with you" Sarah says instantly and Jacob's whole face lights up.
"Will you actually" he asks. She nods her head.
"Well do you wanna go now or at night unless that is to scary for you" Jacob says.
"Oh no we are definitely going at night" Sarah says.
"Who are you and what have you done Sarah" Jacob says and she laughs but on the inside shes terrified. There is no way her mom is going to let her leave at night. Shes gonna have to sneak out.
Jacob was outside of Sarah's house in his car. He watches her sneak out of her back door. She approaches his car and sits in the passenger seat.
"Are you ready" Jacob says while gripping the steering wheel.
"Yup" Sarah says while buckling in her seat belt. Jacob starts driving and soon enough there at the house. Sarah opens up the passenger door and gets out of the car. She waits for Jacob to do the same. He walks up to her and smiles.
"Let's go" He says and she nods. Little do they know that there are already six people inside that house. Sam and Alex were currently eating dessert in the attic.
"This ice cream is so good" Sam says.
"Yup" Alex replies.
"This house is still haunted tho" Sam says and Alex rolls his eyes.
"You're just being paranoid this is a very old house there are probably like rats and other animals making random sounds" Alex says. Just then they hear a loud thud. Down in the basement Laura dropped the Ouija board her Simon and Annabel were gonna use. Annabel face palms.
"Sorry" Laura says and starts picking up the pieces. Simon and Annabel bend down to help her.
Upstairs Sam grabs Alex's hand "What was that" she asks scared.
"Like I said the house is old it's probably like a raccoon or something" Alex says and squeezes her hand. Sarah and Jacob walk into he house. Jacob slams the door causing Annabel to drop the Ouija board and making Sam grip Alex's hand as hard as possible.
"Why are you so loud" Sarah snaps at Jacob.
"Sorry" he says and offers her a smile.
They walk into the gigantic living room. There's a huge chandelier hanging on the ceiling and a grand piano on the side. "Have you ever played before" Jacob asks gesturing to the piano. Sarah shakes her head no. Jacob pulls out the piano bench and sits on it. He starts playing the tune of Happy Birthday. Just then the loudest screams ever are heard from around the house.
"OMG THE GHOSTS ARE REAL" Jacob screams freaking out. In the basement Simon, Annabel and Laura are running up as fast as they can. While Sam and Alex are running down as fast as they are. All of them screaming . Everyone runs into each other and more screams are heard.
"What the-"
"what is going on"
"Alex"
"Jacob"
"why are you here"
"One at a time please" Sam says. Just then the closet door opens.
"AAAAAAH" They all scream and start hugging each other. Sunny walks out of the closet.
"Why is everyone here" Sam says.
"Well Alex was going to come here with me until he ditched me for Sam" Jacob says narrowing his eyes at Alex.
"So me and Sarah decided to hang out here" Jacob says.
"Me Laura and Simon were going to use a Ouija board to contact spirits" Annabel says.
"Me and Alex were on a date" Sam says.
"I was just following Sam and then I explored the house" Sunny says.
"Wow so the sounds we all heard were each other" Sarah says.
"Yeah" Simon says.
"Let's go home guys" Jacob says. They all agree and walk out of the house. The door shuts behind them and all of them are to busy leaving to notice that it shut by itself.
