Nobody spoke. Ruby kept on driving fast. She held onto the steering wheel tightly. Her eyes were dull and her smile was gone.

Brad looked out, through the window, as the thought of Dave dying flooded his mind.

Tyler held Lucy with one arm, as she rested on him.

It was awkward, nobody wanted to say anything. The past events haunting them.

Three were already dead and it happened so fast. The thought of losing anyone else scared them.

After what seemed like eternity; the car stopped. Without a word, Ruby got out of the car and slowly kept on moving.

It was odd seeing Ruby that way, although she had a bad reputation already. The once cheerful woman was gone.

They all came out of the car and followed behind her.

They didn't know where they were going, but they knew they had to keep going.

Their feet hurt, their muscles ached, their mouths were dry.

Ruby suddenly stopped and looked up. The others looked too and saw a cathedral.

It was a huge and black building, surrounded by multiple windows that were shut tight.

The grass around it where a lot but short. Moss grew along the sides of it.

They continued and entered the tall building.

The inside was a little dark and the floorboards squeaked with every step.

Tyler suddenly stopped.
"What's wrong? " Lucy whispered to him.

"Listen" the others tried to strain their ears to listen " can you hear that?"

First, everything seemed quiet, then there was a faint chanting from a distance.

Tyler walked past Ruby to the direction of the sound. They all followed behind him until they turned into a long corridor.

The chants became louder and terrifying. There were lit lamps hanging on the walls, dimly illuminating the corridor.

"Oh man", Brad said with a palm dragging down his face, " we're walking right into a horror movie"

"We've been in a horror movie since the zombies killed our family " Ruby blankly said.

"Shhh" Tyler put up his index finger to his lips. He rested on the door and listened.

He turned back to the rest of them and gave them a short nod. They instinctively reached out for their guns knives.

They barged into the room, ready for action. Only, for them to be cut short by a group of people praying in front of a huge cross.

The people turned back in shock. They were seven of them, but only one, a woman stood up.

"Welcome" she said with a huge smile " we've been expecting you"

They sat around a long dining table. The woman from before on the extreme left, and the one they called 'father' on the extreme right.

The group ate hungrily as the rest of them watched them silently.

"You must be really hungry " Father said.

"Starved" Brad said with food in his mouth. The man laughed.

"Sydney " he called out and a little girl turned to him with large innocent eyes, "would you please get our guests some water?"
