Lucy was too shocked to move. She couldn't believe what she was seeing. Ruby stared at her with shock and fear written on her face.

"Lucy..." Ruby said but Lucy didn't wait to hear what she wanted to say. She ran out, wanting to escape the drama but a hand firmly grabbed her and pulled her back.

"Lucy!" Ruby held her firmly, fear replaced with anger. Lucy tried to pull away but she couldn't.

"How could you do this?" her face screwed up into an expression of disgust as she tried to free herself from the grip, which only became tighter.

"Listen to me" she hissed.

"Helena's your friend" she forced out a laugh then looked deeply into Lucy's eyes.

"She is not my friend. Helena is my Emily" Lucy finally released her hand but she didn't run away. She only looked at her, confused.

"What?" Ruby pulled down her pink tank top which was revealing her black bra and she pulled up her jeans, zipping it up.

"I liked Dave way before she came along and stole him. You of all people should understand how I feel" there was silence for a while. None of them said anything but just looked at each other.

"You know, you told me some hours ago that I shouldn't do something I'll regret"

"So?" She rolled her eyes, saying this.

"It was all a lie. You never meant what you said, because if you did, you would never have done this"

"Guilty"

"What's wrong with you, this is not the Ruby I know"

"The Ruby you knew died a long time ago." Lucy was heart broken. She looked at the woman she once considered a friend and her blood boiled with anger.

"Ruby?" Helena walked towards them, yawning. Their bloods ran cold at the sight of Helena being awake.

Ruby looked up and made the best fake smile she could.

"Elena" Ruby said in a cheerful tone. "How are you?"

"It's late, why are y'all making so much noise" she said, ignoring her question.

"Sorry. We didn't know we were loud ...you didn't hear anything right?"

"Was I meant to?" She looked between the two of them, confused.

"Oh no, never mind" Helena raised a brow and crossed her arms, questioning her answer.

"Sorry, it's a secret between Lucy and I" Ruby secretly winked at her. She was handling things surprisingly well, like she'd done it a thousand times.

Lucy was too shocked to respond. She kept mute as the scene unfolded in front of her.

"Okay" Helena shrugged and walked passed them, towards the room Dave was in. "Later"

If only I didn't come so early. She would have found out herself.

"You know she's going to find out sooner or later" Lucy's voice was back and so was her anger.

"She wouldn't, as long as you keep your mouth shut" her smile turned into a scrawl as she glared at her.

"What makes you think I would do that?" Lucy returned the glare.

"Then I'll have a long talk with Emily." She smirked as Lucy's face lost it emotion and she looked away " I'm sure she'll need some tips from the best"
