Author's Note:
I'm literally writing fanfiction while on a camping trip, surrounded by my family.

Narrator's POV

"Y/N! I've got a surprise for you!" Jeremy shouted, walking around the apartment, looking for you.

"Ooh! A surprise! What is it?" Y/N says, popping out of nowhere.

Jeremy jumped three feet into the air when Y/N said that.

"You scared the crap out of me Y/N."

"You might want to go clean out your pants," Y/N responded, doubling over in laughter.

Jeremy picked Y/N up and threw her over his shoulder.

"You think that is funny?" he questions, trying not to laugh as well.

He carried you outside of the apartment and put you in the passenger side of the car.

"What are you doing?" she squealed

Jeremy didn't respond and put a blindfold over her eyes.

Y/N immediately fell silent as Jeremy put the car into gear and started driving.

After about what felt like two hours, the car finally came to a stop.

Y/N heard the car door open and she knew that Jeremy was getting out. She felt herself being picked up and carried a couple feet away.

"Jeremy, what's going on? Where are we?"

"We are at the surprise, sunshine."

Y/N beamed at the nickname. She knew that as long as she was with Jeremy, she was safe.

"I'm going to put you down, but don't take off the blindfold until I tell you to. Ok?"

You nodded, and heard Jeremy walking away from you. You just stood there, in the silence until he finally spoke.

"Ok sunshine. Take off the blindfold."

Y/N's POV

I nodded and lifted the blindfold.

In front of me, was the prettiest sight I'd ever seen.

There was a fire burning so bright that it lit up everything around me, there was a tent and lots of ingredients for s'mores.

But the prettiest thing there was Jeremy. He was down on one knee with a beautiful infinity ring.

I started tearing up as he spoke.

"Y/N, I love you so much and I know that we have only been dating for six months, but we have known each other for years now. I know that we are too young to get married, or at least that's what you think, so instead of proposing tonight, like I was going to, I am instead promising myself to you for the rest of our lives."

He stood up and walked over to me before continuing talking.

"I promise to love you until the day that i die, I promise to be your best friend until the day that I die and I promise to tell you I love you everyday until the day that I die."

I smile, tears still poring down my face.

I stick out my hand and he puts the ring on my finger.

I smile, even wider if possible and kiss him.

Once we finally come up for air, I start to speak.

"I promise the same to you. And most importantly, I promise to marry you one day."

He smiles and kisses me again.

I couldn't have asked for a better best friend.
