Pain.

That was all I felt.

My eyes shot open as I clutched my head.

"Tyler! Help!" I screamed.

"What?! What happened?!" I saw Tyler burst through my room door.

I couldn't reply him. My vision started to get blurry and I couldn't find my voice.

The last thing I saw was Tyler's worried expression before I was welcomed by darkness.

"Alaysieh! Alaysieh!" A faint familiar voice called out to me.

"Mum?" I furrowed my eyebrows together.

"Mum! Dad!" I exclaimed and ran into their arms once I saw them.

"Alaysieh. You have to listen to me. You will meet a lot of people later on in your life. Do not trust anyone. Unless you know you can." Dad strictly says after we exchanged hugs.

"But why?"

"The Goddess doesn't allow us to tell you. But we believe in you. You are an intelligent girl, Alaysieh. You will figure it out on your own." Mum continued.

"What Goddess? How are you able to talk to me?"

"You have to remember this too, Alaysieh. We are not..."

"Alaysieh! Alaysieh! Wake up!"

I feel someone shaking me.

Or is it an earthquake?

"What? Stop shouting!" I forced my eyes open.

My vision was quite blurry, but I could still see Tyler sitting beside me. Soon, my vision sharpened so well I could see small droplets of water trickling down the cup Tyler was holding.

I sat up and realized that I had been lying down on a couch in the living room.

Sighing, I ran a hand in my hair. But stop right away when my fingers touched something smooth. My fingers ran up that something and my eyes widened in horror.

Without saying anything to Tyler, I stood up and ran towards the nearest bathroom.

I stood in front of the mirror, and staring back at me was a teenage girl with blonde hair, no highlights, and wolf ears instead of human ears. My ears are white in color.
