'Cause I'm a kind-hearted person, I decided to update another chapter before I go on a vacation, which I will only be back from on 22nd December.

& P.S. If you're confused about the story (e.g. the characters or storyline), don't be afraid to leave me a message :) I'll try to answer whenever I have the chance.

Sonia's POV

I could hear mortals' heavy footsteps from the woods.

"They are so noisy," Derrick said, covering his ears in irritation," What is this?! I'm sure this is not a night market or something."

We had split up, since we thought that splitting up will reduce time span.

Derrick, Marc and I were in the same team, Wesley, Olivia and Tyson formed another team. And Carson, Jay and Ellie were the last team. The school covers the South part of the town, so we were left with the North, East and West part. Wesley said that West and his name's first three letters were the same so he is destined to take West.

That son of a b*tch.

That left us with North and East, so we did a challenge of rock, paper and scissors, since no group wanted North.

Why?

The Vampire Coven was situated there.

And my group lost.

Though I live there, it still creeps me out. It was rather risky to patrol there, as the vampires were on watch 24/7. No one wants to be captured by vampires. Among all the supernaturals, being caught by a vampire or more means the worst punishments ever created.

"If you speak any louder you're a night market yourself," Marc grumbled.

I was about to reply with a sarcastic remark but I heard rustling.

Not average rustlings though.

One of the teachers in the vampire coven had taught me before, about these kind of rustlings.

Vampires.

Not just average vampires.

Elders.

"Shut up," I whispered to them. I stood in my attacking position, feeling my fangs poking my bottom lip.

"You know what else is noisy?" This male voice was angelic, it could send any species of females crawling to his feet.

So angelic, yet so deadly.

My eyes widened when I realised who it was.

"Run," I whispered, trying not to make much movement.

"What?" Derrick replied, clearly oblivious to the current death situation.

"I said-"

"My siblings found it rather easy to kidnap your friends," He chuckled.

I backed up a little, pushing the two boys behind me.

"I said- Run!" I shouted, turning around and pushing them forward. I knew that they wasn't really sure about the situation that they were in, but luckily they took the tone of my voice as a sign that  something went wrong.

They are such airheads sometimes.

"You think you can escape from me?" He laughed at us again.

Of course not, you idiot! You're an Elder.

Derrick and Marc was running in front of me, so I couldn't see much of what was happening in front of me. Until they stopped and I crashed into them, and I heard his voice.

I was about to push them away, but I was too late, they collasped onto the ground, unconscious.

I looked up from their fallen bodies, into yellow glowing eyes.

No one was immune to that yellow eyes.

You either become unconscious, or go kissing wherever he had stepped on.

But, I, my siblings and I, are immune, for some weird reason. Unless we are extremely weak, then we were definitely immune.

He was the only one who knew about our secret.

"My, Sonia, how long have I not seen you?" He smiled one of his signature smiles.

I scowled, was about to run away when i felt something connect my face.

Hard.

Even though I was more than a thousand year old vampire, I still couldn't see his actions quick enough to defend myself.

I touched my face gently, as though I was the most fragile thing on Earth.

When I drew my hand away from my face, I saw light red. Not crimson red. Light red.

I felt naseous all the sudden, and my vision started to get blurry. The smile on his face turned into a cocky smirk.

My bloody hand was clenched, and I tried to punch him with all my might. But I guess I was really too weak to even be a vampire.

I felt myself fall sideways, and before I was sent into the oblivion, I caught one last glance of the Elder.

"Sweet dreams, my lady," He still had that smirk on as he brushed a blonde hair off my face.

I managed to spit onto his face just before I knocked out.

My friends will be coming for us, Alexander. Just till you wait.
