Thanks to haylestormx for making the cover!

I had shifted back to my gold wolf, knowing being in this form will help me run to the others faster.

Just as I was running to the front of the pack house, I crashed into something silver.

Klaus.

'What are you doing?' He asked, head tilting to one side.

'It was just distraction, there was no baby!' I replied panickly.

'Ours too-' Klaus was interrupted by loud wailings of a newborn baby and loud cacklings of a-

I bet you know what.

Witch.

Klaus and I shared one more glance before setting off in the direction of the sounds, hoping that it wasn't another distraction.

The more we ran, the louder the wailing was. Which, of course, fueled our determination to get the baby.

But it just stopped.

Just like that.

We were following after the wailing, when it just stopped.

But the cackling of the witch was still audible.

I shifted back angrily and shouted," Get back here, you coward of a witch!"

And that was it, my stupid sentence shuts the witch's mouth up and we couldn't trace them anymore.

I sank to the ground, holding my head in my hands.

"This is all my fault," I mumbled to myself.

I felt a hand wrap around my shoulders and heard Klaus saying,"It's not your fault, Ally. You wouldn't have known."

"Hey!" I heard a familiar distant voice shout.

I looked up, seeing the others running towards us. That's when I realised that Alexa's spell was fading. I brought my hair to the front, so that it was in my line of vision, and saw that it was no longer brown anymore. It was back to being blond.

"We have to go back to Alexa's home," Scarlett said, running a hand through her dirty blond hair. Everyone understood why before she even explained.

"Before we go to the Vampire Coven."

---

I grabbed my cloak and my mask. I put both of them on after I had tied my hair into a high ponytail. I jogged to Alexa's weapons room, getting as many weapons as possible. I grabbed ten daggers, putting six on my belt and two in my combat boots each.

I took my parents' sword and hung it on my back. I also had two clocked pistols hanging on my belt. I pulled on my black leather fingerless gloves as I jogged to the living room.

"Ready?" Alexa asked and she was replied with a couple of 'yes' and nodding of heads.

They all had two daggers with them, for back up, just in case anything bad happens and they can't defend themselves on their own.

I pulled on my hood as we walked out of her apartment. Klaus and Kayla shifted into their wolves and ran to the Vampire Coven while the vampires used their speed to run there. Alexa and Oliver got rides on Kayla and Klaus's backs respectively, as they couldn't run as fast as the others. As a hunter, I jumped from tree to tree, roofs of buildings to another, like a ninja.

---

"How are we going to go in?" Kayla asked, looking at the back of the building with furrowed eyebrows.

"Well," Chase started,"We do have some witches and a hunter here." He said it as though it was the most obvious thing in the world.

"Well," Kayla argued,"We-"

"Hey you!" A man's voice exclaimed, making everyone jump except for Chase and me.

Some of us turned around while the others peered over their shouders just to see who it was.

It was a whole gang, I could point out who was what.

Pack warriors.

And the worst part?

The Alpha and Luna.
