A loud ding resonated through the hotel room, waking up Hoseok who was never really a heavy sleeper. He squinted an eye open, brown orb peeping past his eyelashes and a brow raised in curiosity. Looking to the bed next to his, he saw a mop of mint hair groggily reaching over the nightstand for his phone.

A small smile formed on his face when he checked who it was from.

The younger was still drowsy when he mindlessly asked "Who is it?"

It's a good thing that Yoongi's in the same state, letting the boy's questioning slide when he replied with "Jimin. Sent a good morning text."

Hoseok hummed, stretching his limbs before rubbing his eyes from any sign of sleep. Another ding was heard a few seconds after the older typed up a response.

"He's coming over in a bit to have breakfast with us." Yoongi informed the brown-eyed boy after reading the message.

Jimin arrived a couple minutes later and chatted with Hoseok, mostly him babbling to the other, while Yoongi went to use the toilet.

After breakfast, Yoongi and Hoseok took turns using the shower and changing in the bathroom while Jimin laid on the eldest's bed, scrolling through social media.

Hoseok came out of the bathroom to see Yoongi and Jimin cuddling on the mattress, eyes on their own phones. They looked comfortable in each other's arms and the boy couldn't help but feel jealous and guilty at the sight. Jealous because he'd never experienced what it was like to cuddle anyone, not even his own parents (no surprise there), and guilty because he was wedging himself between their happy relationship. If only he didn't exist, then Yoongi and Jimin would proceed to have no complications with each other.

Averting his gaze to the floor, Hoseok dried his wet hair with a used towel before throwing it on his own bed and reaching for his contacts on the nightstand. They were all spending the rest of the day at the amusement park and going in his normal eye color wouldn't be ideal if he wanted to enjoy his time.

"You're seriously wearing blue contacts?" Yoongi asked with a scoff, making the younger look up from his hand.

"Y-yeah. We're going out a-and-"

"That's fucking dumb. You have brown eyes just accept it." Yoongi bitterly spat. Hoseok bit his lip in shame, hiding the case behind his back.

"Yoongi." Jimin said softly, looking at his boyfriend with disappointed eyes. "Let him wear what he wants to wear. If Hoseok wants to wear contacts to feel more comfortable going outside then let him be comfortable."

"So he's just going to cower behind those stupid lenses? Shows how low your self-esteem is." His boyfriend mocked, standing up to leave the room.

"Babe-" The boy called out but the older was already out of the door. He sighed, running a hand through his dyed pink hair. "I'm sorry, Hoseok. He doesn't have the right to tell you what to-"

"N-no, it's fine." The boy forced the corners of his lips to turn upwards when he placed the lens case back down. "He's right."

"Are you sure?" Jimin asked warily, pushing himself off the mattress to stand in front of him. "You can wear them if you want to. I don't want you feeling uncomfortable throughout the whole day."

"I'm sure." Hoseok lied, heart thumping out of fear. He really didn't want to go out without his contacts on but if wearing them meant Yoongi would hate him more, then he could deal with not having them on. The older's opinion of him mattered more than his own comfort.

"Let's go to that ride!" Jimin immediately pulled Yoongi and Hoseok with him towards the biggest rollercoaster in site after entering the park. Jin had already disappeared somewhere near the food stands with Namjoon and Jungkook dragged Taehyung to the bumper cars.

"Jimin, I-I've never gone on a rollercoaster before. Can we go on a smaller ride, please?" Hoseok requested with pleading brown eyes.

"What? Are you a wimp, Jung?" Yoongi was already irritated with Hoseok and the younger had no idea what he had done to push the other on edge. Nonetheless, it made his stomach turn just thinking of the older being upset with him.

"You don't have to go, Hoseok. We'll go to the merry-go-round instead." Jimin smiled but the boy shook his head.

"Um," Hoseok swallowed down the lump in his throat before continuing. "We can go in the rollercoaster. I'm sure it'll be fun."

And with that, they waited in line for their turn. The brown-eyed boy kept his gaze on the floor while trailing behind the couple. He didn't want to accidentally make eye contact with a stranger and get mocked in front of everyone when they realized what he was. As time passed and the three high schoolers neared the front of the line, Hoseok gulped when he saw that the ride was seated in pairs. He knew he'd have to go by himself.

"I'll go with you, Hoseokie. It's your first time on a rollercoaster and I don't want you to be too scared." Jimin spoke up as if he read the boy's thoughts.

"What? What about me?" Yoongi angrily complained, glaring at the brunet.

"I'm sure I'll manage sitting by myself." Hoseok smiled, hiding any sign of fear.

It was their turn to enter, the ride operator scanning each person's wristband. When it got to Hoseok, a hand stopped him.

"Sorry, no more seats. You have to wait for the next ride." The worker rudely said, looking the boy straight into his brown orbs.

"Excuse me but there's still a seat left for my friend." Jimin called out from where he was already buckled into the ride next to Yoongi, pointing at an empty spot.

"It's out of order."

"But I saw someone sit there from the ride before-"

"Out. Of. Order." The worker repeated, causing the boy to furrow his eyebrows.

"Hey, it's fine. I'll ride the next one." Hoseok assured the shorted boy who looked at him with pity.

Once the ride started up, all the fear in the brunet had surfaced.

He'd have to ride the rollercoaster alone.
