(After Yoongi's Suicide)

These POVs won't be in order according to the events of this book because a lot of you really wanted to read a "happy" ending. I wouldn't say this is necessarily happy but it is a bit happier. :)

It was around 12 in the morning that Yoongi woke up to a cold breeze entering the hotel room causing him to shiver under the covers. He squinted an eye open to the other side of the room, an unoccupied bed sitting just a couple feet away from his own.

"What the hell?" He groggily muttered to himself, rubbing his eyes before sitting up.

The sliding door leading to the balcony was slightly opened and he could see a familiar brunet sitting on the floor, facing away from the dim room.

Yoongi slowly got off of the bed, slipping his slides on, and quietly walking towards the balcony. While snuggling his pale arms through the sleeves of a cotton sweater, he couldn't help but feel... déjà vu.

Like he's been in this exact situation... yet a completely different feeling sewed through the hems at the same time.

"Come sit with me, Hyung." A soft voice, almost a sliver of an echo, sounded through his ears. Suddenly everything seemed different. Yes. They were in the hotel room. Yes. It's midnight. Yes. Hoseok sat on the balcony floor. No. He had no tears this time around. No. There was no pillow in his grasp.

No.

The brown-eyed boy was in peace.

And it hit Yoongi. Hoseok taking his own life. Jimin checking in ever day. Little Yoonji crying over Hoseok and Doori. Yoongi's dad overworking himself to distract him from the death of his wife. Hoseok's parents not even bothered to act sad about the death of their son. Yoongi taking his own life with only the thought of light seeping through those beautifully crafted hazel eyes that sparkled under the moon and sun.

.....

Was he dead?

Was Hoseok dead too?

Sighing, the mint haired boy slowly stepped out of the room and into the breezeless balcony. Yoongi didn't feel the whisper of wind that seemingly only caressed the younger's brown locks.

"How are you, Yoongi-Hyung?" The ringing of Hoseok's voice resonated through the older's hearing again yet... that distance never left. The boy was in front of him but Yoongi's senses wouldn't let him fully grasp onto the other.

"Are we... are we dead?" Yoongi carefully questioned, blue eyes confused as he took place next to the brunet on the balcony floor.

The younger laughed softly like echoing Christmas bells miles away on a calm December morning. "You could say that." He huffed out a content breath.

They sat there with their legs crossed, chests heaving in small amounts of air. Hoseok didn't seem fazed by the way Yoongi shamelessly stared at his side profile. From his indulgent brown eyes to his perfectly slanted nose, parted pink lips to his carved jawline. The curly hair falling over his brows that showed no grudges and lashes that thinned from grasping onto those stray tears every night.

"I missed you." Yoongi breathed out.

It took a moment before Hoseok whispered an "I know."

The mint head didn't even seem surprised. He had a feeling that the boy was keeping tabs on him somewhere out there.

"I never had the courage to tell you this when I was alive-" The younger started again, gaze fixated on the metal bars separating them from the bottomless fall. "But you're a big asshole, Min Yoongi."

The mint haired male's heart squeezed into itself at those words but he knew they were true. "I know."

"You didn't let me finish." Hoseok sighed. "You're a big asshole but my heart still found a way to love you. The little signs, the little moments where I saw a glimpse of your own heart, I cherished those. I knew you cared.... but you didn't care enough to fully show it."

Though his words held burdening amounts of pain, his calm exterior never faltered. It was as if during the month he had to himself, Hoseok thoroughly thought things out and accepted all of the older's flaws.

"I would've said yes." Yoongi whispered.

"What?"

The older reached out and intertwined his fingers with the brunet's. Physically they were holding hands but it felt like Hoseok's fingers only ghosted over his. The touch was only partially there. But maybe that's what they deserved for taking their own lives. They wouldn't be able to entirely bask in each other's presence. They had that chance when they were still alive but one threw it away and so the other followed.

"I would've said yes to going to prom with you." Yoongi sighed, tightening his hold on the younger's palm and trying to get as close to the real feeling as he could.

"Yeah?" He felt Hoseok's eyes burning holes into the back of his hand while they both stared at the foreign affection.

"Yeah. Jimin told me before hand. He knew I cared about you and made sure I thought of saying yes. He didn't want you to get hurt. And I was gonna say yes... just... the bastard Sehun provoked me."

"You don't have to explain yourself." The younger mumbled distantly, thumb emitting an airy sense of touch when he rubbed it along the other's pale hand. "I found out everything after I died."

"Do you regret it?" That question lingered in the air, making the mint haired boy wonder if his voice was equally as distant to Hoseok as the younger's was to him.

"Somewhat." A faint smile danced across his tan complexion. "I regret it because you followed me. I wouldn't have done it if I knew you would. I also left Jimin and your other friends... there's also Yoonji.

"But I mostly don't regret it. I'm away from my parents and Sehun now. It's a selfish thought process, I know, but it's what I've been wanting my whole life. To be away from those horrible bastards. Away from that world's pessimistic mindset." He closed his eyes, taking a long, relaxing breath. "What about you, do you regret it?"

When brown met blue once again, Yoongi knew the answer to that question. "No."

Hoseok hummed with a rare smile.

"I still have a lot to confess to you." Yoongi pouted, doll lips subconsciously pursing out. If the afterlife had Hoseok, then it wasn't so bad after all.

"We've got all the time in this world for that."

Yoongi smiled, content.
