Mingan stood in front of the counter chopping carrots and potatoes for the soup Emily and the young girl was cooking. The two girls were laughing and dancing while listening to music. Suddenly the two heard the noises of the boys whooping. They smiled looking over each other before turning to face the door where the boys were entering the house from.
Sam is the first one walked over to Emily and immediately started kissing her all over her face. Mingan smiled watching them before watching Jared and Paul sit down on the table to start eating the bread buns that were placed in the middle of the table. Once she saw Embry walking to her she opened her arms pulling him in to her as he smiled like an idiot.
instead of kissing the two hugged each other before Embry pulled away to grab some of the bread to eat before the others ate it all. Mingan looked over at the door seeing Jacob standing there with an annoyed look. Her being her Mingan took off her apron saying a quiet "I'll be back" to Emily before walking over to Jacob.
The boys watched her already knowing that Jacob was closer to the witch then the others besides Embry but since he phased he only trusted Mingan. They watched the young witch whisper to Jacob about taking a walk before the two left the front door and walked somewhere in the forest.
Embry bit his lip turning away from the door knowing that he should his imprint. He grabbed another bun of bread ate slower then he did before which made his brother's know immediately that his mood was down. Trying to make him brighten up Jared slapped Embry on the shoulder catching the younger boy's attention.
"Why don't we play a round of call and duty?" Jared asked standing up from his seat and with Paul following after him. "ill beat your ass" Paul said trying to rile Embry up and hearing that the younger boy stood up pushing past both Jared and Paul while saying "your on" Emily smiled from the kitchen the boys playfully fight as they got ready to play the video game.
Sam chuckled watching his pack brother take care of one of another. The older man stood up from his seat and went to the kitchen to grab something to drink for both himself and the other boys. While that was happening Mingan and Jacob were walking down the trail in the forest in comfortable silence.
"You okay?" The witch asked looking over at the wolf boy who walked in sync with her. "yeah just gotta get used to this" was all Jacob said while staring down at his feet as Mingan looked over at him with a worried look. "I know it may seem hard now but things will get easier I promise," She said moving in front of him making the two stop walking.
Jacob sighed taking a deep breath in before letting it out with a small huff. He nodded "you're right" he muttered softly while looking down at the young witch and being calm he pulled the young girl into his arms and hugged her tightly. "Thank you" He whispered into the girl's ear and before he could pull away Mingan hugged him back just as tight while whispering "your welcome"
After their small moment, the two walked back to Emily's house and Emily had finished making the soup and was already having everyone on the table waiting for the two. Mingan smiled walking over to Embry and sitting on his lap making the young boy immediately engulf the girl in his arms. Jacob smiled at the scene before he walked over to the table and sat down.
