As the Voltri battle, it didn't take long for Jared to move in with Elike since he was 19 already while Elike went back to school to finish her two more years of high school with Embry, Jacob, and Quil.
Every day after school Elike would either be with the three boys getting close with them after spending quite a time with them or with Jared who would wait for her leaning against his rusty truck. She didn't mind which would happen because she had fun either way.
After graduating high school was around the time where she grew a little distant from Jacob since he had spent all his time at the Cullens while Quil and Embry made sure to hang out with her whenever the three were free to make sure their friendship was strong.
Even so, Elike always made sure to have time for Jared even though she had gone to College. It wasn't far from La Push and Forks so she would be able to come home on the weekends or breaks.
The relationship she had with Jared was always strong but there were times would the two would go days without talking from either being too busy or just straight up having a fight. The fights would usually last a day or two before Jared would physically go see Elike and apologize even when it wasn't him or shouldn't have to apologize.
Elike was just always stubborn about her feelings while Jared would break easily after being alone. Half the time the only reason he was even mad at her was that he didn't see her enough that caused him to grow lonely without her.
The moment she graduated from College though was the happiest thing for them. It allowed Elike to come back home officially and for the couple to spend time together without being rushed or anything.
By the time Emily and Sam had gotten married, Jared and Elike decided that it would be best for them just to focus on their careers rather than the idea of marrying each other. They loved each other more than anything and Jared understood that Elike wanted to pressure her dreams first and he was okay with that.
Elike had taken classes to become a teacher and by her late 20s, she had gotten a job at the high school in La Push in the subject of history. That was around the time where Ivy and Paul had taken off after their wedding to travel around the world.
Not even a year into teaching Elike had gotten pregnant with Jared's baby. Elike was surprised and scared all at the same time because she didn't know she was going to have a baby so when Mingan started questioning her about her sickness and the late period she knew exactly then and there she was pregnant.
Even so, she made sure to take at the highest of five pregnancy tests but also have Mingan check with her own way of magic. That was when Elike finally accepted that she was pregnant and by then all of the girls knew about it including Ivy who was halfway across the world.
No matter how scared Elike was she told Jared two weeks after accepting her fate and when he found out he was the most happiest man in the world. Jared had screamed in joy and picked up the girl from her feet startling the pack who was inside the house.
