Mingan was waking up to the bright sun as the curtains to her window blew from the wind. It was the morning after the eventful but closing night and Mingan really didn't want to wake up.
For one it was the first time she had gotten a full seven hours of sleep and well Embry's warmth made her want to stay in bed all day. Groaning from the blinding sun Mingan moved to turn over and hide her face in Embry's chest.
From her small movement, Embry loosened his hold on her until she stopped moving and when she was he pulled her back into him keeping his grip tight. Half asleep himself he leaned down placing a soft kiss against her forehead before nuzzling his nose into her blue locks.
Mingan hummed in content tracing her fingers lightly against Embry's bare chest as she curled into him. Her legs wrapped one of his while her head rested against his shoulder and her face buried into his neck.
"Go back to sleep" Embry muttered in a deep but soft voice as he ran his hand up her back then back down to get her to stop moving. Mingan just hummed not saying anything as she stared at the wall ready to let sleep take over her again.
Slowly she fell back to sleep and soon after Embry followed after her. The many nights of patrolling and getting no rest finally catching up to him. The room once again quiet as the sun continued to shine filling the room with warmth and brightness. Burning all the darkness the night once held.
Elike was walking home after the many weeks of not being there and from staying with the Cullens house. She didn't sleep not comfortable inside the Cullen house so for the rest of the night she had stood outside wide awake.
Just as she was stepping to her back door it was opened by none other than Jared. At the sight of his imprint, Jared pulled her into a tight embrace since it had been quite a long time since the last time he even touched her excluding the fight of last night.
Elike didn't stop him and actually welcomed his hold as she buried her face into his chest with her arms wrapping around his waist. Giving him a tight hug of her own she let out a small hum as his scent filled her nostrils.
"God I missed you" She confessed before she could stop herself. It was just she really did miss him. So much. "I promise I'm gonna make it up to you" She then said as she pulled away to look towards him.
Gripping on to his shirt lightly she gave him an apologetic look "From today and on I promise to always make you happy and never leave your side" She continued starting to actually ramble on.
Smiling like a complete idiot Jared grasped her face before giving her a long passionate kiss that both of them had been wanting to do since they saw each other.
Elike shut up kissing back on instinct as she pushed her hands under his shirt and rested against his lower back. Humming between the kiss Jared tilted his head deepening it since he was eager for more of her.
