Mingan sat in Emily's living room doing her usual spell reading since she's been getting more days off of work. The only reason being was because her manager had taken notice that she was always there and never had taken a vacation.
So for her graduating present, she was getting a three-week vacation. Not knowing what to do she spent all of her time at Emily's house reading spell books, helping Emily cook, or hanging with the pack with anything they needed.
Though recently everyone was becoming busy with patrol again that they had forgotten all about Mingan graduating since she was the oldest out of everyone in the pack beside, Leah and Sam who had already graduated from school.
It wasn't as though Mingan cared because she was actually planning on skipping graduation since she thought that there was no reason for her to go if she knew no one would be going. Especially since everyone is busy.
Not noticing she didn't realize that the pack had all gotten back from their daily patrol. They were piling on the table hungrily eating and not bothering Mingan because they knew she was to focus on her book.
Suddenly the phone started to ring and before Emily could get up from Sam's lap Mingan waved her hand bringing the phone towards the older woman since she didn't like the ringing as she tried to read.
"Thank you" Emily called out before taking the phone and answering it with a sweet known only to let out a loud shout. "What?!" She yelled bringing everyone's head to snap their heads towards her startled.
Now quiet they watched as Emily mutter a soft apology before hanging up. Sam, who was about to question her what was wrong, was pushed down by Emily who got up from his lap.
Slightly scared the pack watched as a now angry Emily walk towards the oblivious Mingan. Grabbing her book Emily tossed it aside making Mingan turn to face her confused.
"You're graduating and not even going to the ceremony?" Emily asked with a deadly calm tone but her eyes were burning with fury. The room was so quiet that you could hear a pin drop even if you didn't have super hearing.
"yes?" Mingan answered even though it sounded like she was just giving a question back. She was confused about why Emily so mad because she didn't think it was important.
"Why didn't you tell us?" Sam then said joining into the conversation as he looked at the witch. Emily nodded showing that she was about to ask that question.
"Because everyone's been busy lately" Mingan answered like it the most obvious thing in the world "I was actually planning on not going" She then said making everyone shout all at the same time disagreeing or asking why.
Mingan flinched slightly raising her hand up showing that she was gonna answer to which everyone shut up to let her. "Well there wasn't anyone coming so I saw no point in going"
"So first you didn't tell us and was planning on not going?" Elike asked as she stood up from her spot "Are you stupid?" She asked not knowing what to say since this was an important step in life.
