I stared at my sister in a long white dress. I smiled as she giggled and turned around, watching it flow in the mirror.
"It looks great (Y/S/n)."
"I can't believe this is happening."
She exclaimed and looked back at me. I giggled and grabbed her hands, she looked up at me.
"Everything is ready, whenever you are."
I said and she took a deep breath before nodding. A knock on the door made both our heads turn.
"(Y/S/n), you ready sweetie?"
It was our dad.
"Yeah, come in!"
My sister called and the door opened to my dad in a black suit and tie. He smiled looking at the two of us. He walked up to my sister and held his arm out. She locked her arm with his and I smiled.
"I'll leave you two to talk."
I said and walked out and towards the chapel. I snuck into the side door and stepped up next to the other bridesmaids. The groomsmen were talking across the aisle to the other bridesmaids while the best man was talking to the groom. I watched them talk but kept looking at the best man. He glanced at me and flashed me a quick smile before the organs broke the mumbling of people. The door opened and I looked at my sister. My father had a huge smile on his face as he walked her down. I smiled softly and held my hands.

Time Skip

After the whole ceremony we were in the reception area. I watched my sister and her new husband dance together. She had her head laid on his shoulder and they were whispering something to each other. My dad got up and grabbed my mom's hand pulling her out to the floor and started dancing with her. I smiled softly watching my family together. I felt a tap on my shoulder and I looked up. It was the best man. He had his brown hair slicked back and a short beard. He had bright blue eyes that matched his bright smile he had on his face.
"You're the only one not dancing. May I?"
He asked holding his hand out to me. I giggled softly and put my hand in his.
"Sure."
I said and he pulled me towards the dance floor. He wrapped his arms around my waist and held my hand. I placed my free hand on his shoulder. He smiled again as he started leading the dance and I followed.
"I'm Quentin Beck. I'm guessing your (Y/S/n)'s sister?"
"Yeah, I'm (Y/n)."
"That's a beautiful name for a beautiful woman."
He said softly, twirling me around. I smiled and glanced at my sister. She was staring at me, well more of glaring at Quentin. I blinked and looked back at him. He held me close to him. It was weird, I've never met this man but I felt like I've known him forever. Being held like this made me feel safe. I laid my head on his chest. The song stopped and so did Quentin. I moved away from him and my sister quickly walked over to me.
"Sorry Beck but I'm stealing this one away from you."
She said and grabbed my arm.
"Uh yeah of course."
He said and let go of me. I blinked and looked at her. He smiled at me.
"Thank you for letting me dance with you (Y/n). We should talk some more."
"Yeah sure."
I said softly as he walked off. My sister smiled at him while he walked away, then pulled me towards the hallway.
"What's wrong?"
I asked worriedly as she closed the door, shutting out the party world that was going on in the room. She looked at me with a stern look.
"Don't get mixed up with Beck. He's bad news."
"He seemed perfectly fine when he asked me to dance."
"Yeah he comes off that way. I don't know (Y/n) he just lost his job. Jack and him have been going to the bar a lot since then."
"I wasn't gonna just start dating him right now because he asked me to dance."
I stated and crossed my arms. She sighed and grabbed my hands.
"Just promise me, you'll be careful with him. If anything happens between you too."
I rubbed her knuckles and smiled.
"I know how to take care of myself."
She giggled softly and nodded.
"Now hurry up and get back in there. I want cake."
I pushed open the door and pulled her in. She smiled and walked towards the table we were all sitting at.
"Of course you do."
She said and sat down. I smiled and sat next to her.

Another Time Skip Yay

It was after everything. Everything was done. I stayed cause I was the main clean up crewmemeber. Well it was my dad, mom, and me. Everyone was walking out while I was grabbing the plates and cups, stacking them on top of each other. My mom was grabbing the cups that still had liquid in them and took them to the kitchen. My dad grabbed some of the plates I had stacked and followed my mom. I sighed and picked up another stack and then some cups.
"(Y/n), need any help!"
I heard someone call from behind me.
"Yes please."
I said and sighed. I heard footsteps and looked to see who it was. It was Beck. He smiled at me and reached out for the plates. I handed them to him and picked up some more cups.
"Thank you."
I smiled and walked towards the kitchen. He smiled back and followed.
"Of course. Anything for a beautiful lady."
He said and I giggled.
"Im sure you've said that to multiple girls before."
I said as I put the cups down on the counter and he did the same with the plates.
"Well no I haven't."
He spoke quickly and I raised my eyebrow.
"Sure Mr. Beck."
I shook his shoulder and walked back out to the room. He followed me out.
"Okay maybe I have but I've never felt the way I did when I danced with you. It was different."
He said and grabbed my arm holding me back. I glanced at him. I felt my face start burning.
"I'm never usually nervous when I talk to girls but you make me feel so scared. That if you wouldve said no to the dance I wouldve felt like nothing mattered anymore."
He looked down at the floor.
"I havent had the best few weeks. Going after girl after girl. Trying to forget that fact that my lifes work is just a toy now."
I looked at him and pulled my arm away from him. He looked back up at me, his eyes were glossy.
"You brought out a feeling I thought I would never have again."
I blinked and smiled softly.
"I'll give you a chance. No games though Mr. Beck."
I said and kissed his cheek before grabbing the rest of the plates. He smiled and wiped his eyes quickly.
"Good. How about tomorrow, I'll pick you up at 7?"
He winked and I giggled.
"Sure."
