"No! No! Give me that!"
Quentin scrambled to try to take a part of one of his projects out of the small baby's hand. The child screamed and kicked, making him groan and slam his head into his hands.
"Beck!"
A woman walked into the room. Quentin whined and looked at his wife.
"(Y/n), I don't know how you can do this."
He whispered out. Recently, Beck had gotten fired from his job. So he's now a stay at home dad for the time being. His wife, (Y/n) rolled her eyes. She was still in slacks and a nice blue dress shirt. She dropped the laptop bag that was slung on her shoulder onto the floor next to the doorway.
"It's only been a week."
She said and picked up the small child. She had just recently gone back to work after being on maternity leave. The little girl cooed and reached up, entangling her small hands into (Y/n)'s hair. (Y/n) smiled and planted a small kiss on the baby's temple.
"And I thought I said, no working around the baby."
(Y/n) said strictly, burning a hole directly through Quentin. His face turned red from embarrassment.
"I had to finish something it was bothering me."
Quentin huffed, grabbing a small baby bottle, he handed it to (Y/n).
"No, I'm going to take a shower and change. You take care of (your daughter's name Y/D/N)."
She said, passing the baby to her husband. Quentin blinked and so did (Y/d/n).
"Fine fine."
He said, holding the bottle in front of the child. Her small hands tried their best to wrap around the bottle as she drank it. (Y/n) smiled and walked towards the bathroom.

"When's daddy coming back?"
(Y/d/n) asked. (Y/n) sighed softly running her fingers through her daughter's hair. Quentin now was in Europe finishing his project as what he told (Y/n) with his old work friends.
"He told me he'd back tomorrow."
That's what he had told her in the last phone call they had. He talked to (Y/d/n) most of the time.
"Do you think we can call him and he can read me a story?"
"Sweetie there's a time difference remember? He'll be asleep by the time we go to bed."
"Oh yeah."
(Y/d/n) said sadly. (Y/n) smiled somberly giving her a small kiss on her cheek.
"I'm sure he would give anything to tell you stories"
(Y/n) said, picking up her daughter and walking to her room. (Y/n) placed the girl in her bed.
"I promised Uni a tea party! I have to get it ready so please leave mommy!"
The girl pushed on her mother's legs. (Y/n) giggled and nodded. She walked out and closed the door behind her. (Y/n) walked to the living room, turning the TV on. She walked into the connected kitchen, turning on the stove to start to make lunch. She was going to make mac and cheese. As she started pulling things out of the cabinets to cook she heard a familiar voice.
"Beck?!"
(Y/n) said excitedly turning on her heel, a smile plastered across her face. It dropped quickly, seeing his face on the TV. It was bloody and he looked scared. (Y/n)'s eyes widened. She heard the door open.
"Daddy's home!?"
(Y/d/n) yelled.
"No! Stay in your room!"
The door quickly slammed. (Y/n) trembled, tears slowly falling down her face.
