Of course.

The one time, I get out of the house to get my mind off things. They just had to be here. I stared at my ex who was getting a drink at the bar on the other side of the room. I gripped my drink tighter while my friend (Y/f/n) flung herself over my shoulder. She was laughing and cheering to the music. I was the only friend that didn't like to get drunk off my ass so, I was the designated driver for the night.

"Come on (Y/n)! Lighten up!"

She yelled over the music, shaking me a bit. I giggled softly and took another sip of the water I had in my hand. Hey passing out in a club is not something I want to have on my bucket list. She pulled on my hand slightly towards the dance floor and I shook my head no. Her lips pursed out before she blew me a kiss and walked into the crowd of people. I sighed when she got far enough away from me. I leaned on the bar and rubbed my head. I glanced back over to the other side of the room where I saw my ex at. Now he was staring directly at me. Well more like glaring at me. A lump in my throat made it hard to swallow. I started to walk towards the bathroom, going through the crowd of people. A loud yelp erupted from my throat as my hair got yanked back.

"(Y/n) there you are."

"Leave me alone Issac!"

I yelled before my entire body was pulled back into his. He still had a tight grip on my hair, making me whimper. He growled holding me there.

"I've been looking for you all over."

"I left for a reason!"

Tears welled up in my eyes. My heart raced with the tempo of the music.

"Honey there you are!"

A man called out and walked over to us. His blue eyes were bright as he looked at me. I blinked and smiled. Issac growled and held me closer to him.

"Hey back off! She's mine!"

Issac snapped at him. I brought my leg up and swung it backward, hitting him in his crotch. The man walked up to me and swung his arm around me.

"What's your name?"

He whispered slightly as Issac was kneeling on the floor groaning.

"(Y/n)."

I whispered back. He smiled and looked down at Issac.

"Good thing (Y/n) did something. I would've done worse."

He walked over to Issac and grabbed him by the shirt, pulling him up to his feet. Now he had a serious look on his face.

"Touch her ever again, and I'll make you regret it."

"Fine whatever."

Issac said as the man dropped him to the floor. He glared at me one last time before walking away from the two of us. The man turned back around to look at me.

"I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to make you uncomfortable if I did."

He said and I quickly wrapped my arms around him.

"Thank you so much."

I croaked out, trying to keep the tears in my eyes from falling down.

"Hey, no problem. Men shouldn't treat girls like that. I don't like it when people are like that."

"He's my ex."

"Oh..OH!"

He said the second one louder than the first like he had made a breakthrough.

"Well, I'm Quentin. I can hang out with you for a while so he doesn't come back?"

"Please, my best friend is drunk off her ass."

Quentin laughed as he walked with me to an empty table.
