Chapter Twenty Seven

Kayla's POV:

I sat down on the couch, glaring out the window. Gina stayed with me near the hallway in case I tried to run back. Maya and the Director haven't came back yet. I glanced up at the woman.

"What do you do?" I asked. She snorted.

"Cook. Clean if the pet doesn't have to do it herself. Make some clothes for the pet. Look after the pet. Administer punishments when Master is away. Watch the house. Etc" She said stiffly. I just nodded, catching the hint to stop talking.

Maya returned, dressed in a black sweatsuit. Michael came after her in a matching white one and Gina was ordered to bring her dress to the car. She left and I cautiously looked at Maya.

"I..is she okay?" I asked. She shrugged.

"She stopped screaming unfortunately, so the fun ended fast. She's probably still on the floor. You can help her if you want" She replied. Upon hearing that I jumped up and nodded quickly, rushing down the hallway till I got to the room.

Lilac was scrubbing the floor while trembling. A bunch of cleaning supplies had been brought in here. Every time she'd stretch she'd flinch and have to instead move her whole body. A painful punishment ender.

"You're not allowed to leave until you finish huh?" I said. She didn't look at me. I came over and gently touched one of the small scars on her back. She hissed and twisted around, grabbing my hand.

"Don't touch it it hurts" She pleaded. I pulled my hand away and apologized. I grabbed an extra brush and decided to help her clean up. The carpet smelled strongly of salt water and I knew Maya had followed through with her awful punishment.

It took a while but eventually we got it all out. She shakily stood up and grabbed the cleaning supplies, walking out of the room to put it away in a closet. Stretching up to reach the shelf made her flinch and nearly drop the bucket. I quickly grabbed it away from her after three failed attempts and put it away myself.

"I'm sorry Lilac. That she hurt you" I whispered. She just nodded. She was still naked, but when we walked towards the living room a maid appeared with a black dress for her to wear. I was still wearing my dinner date dress.

"How long have we been here?" I mumbled. Shadow shrugged from beside me. Lilac scoffed and took the lead this time. We found them in the living room. Maya glanced up once she heard us coming and smirked.

"Did you two have fun?" She asked teasingly. Lilac's hands clenched into fists but she said nothing. Maya raised an eyebrow.

"Aww" She said, fake pouting. "Don't give me the silent treatment.". She chuckled and looked at me with a smirk.

"Mistress what time is it?" I asked boldly. She shot me a withering look and I felt my heart drop. Please don't get angry and hurt me. My heart lifted once I saw her pull out her phone and glance at the time.

"11:47pm. Almost 12am. We're sleeping here I'm too lazy to drive. Lilac has her own room so you'll sleep with her" She explained. I just nodded.

"Spending the night? She must like and trust this guy." Shadow whispered. I agreed. Lilac was busy talking to her Master, who was inspecting the damage. He laughed when he was finished and gushed over Maya and how effective her whipping was. I felt sick.

"Go to bed you two. See you in the morning Lilac" He called. Lilac shook her hand and squeezed against him tighter. Maya sighed and easily shoved her off, shocking her for good measure. Lilac looked helplessly at her Master but he was too busy telling Maya a story to care. Maya shooed her away and gave me a look that told me to follow her. I picked up my leash and obeyed.
