Chapter Seven

Mitch POV

"I shouldn't, shall we sit down, I will get us more drinks" I needed to get away, what was I doing, I walked to the bar, I could see Cole walk back to our seats, she looked confused, I had a great day with Cole, it's only one day and I finding myself wanting to have her in my arms, holding her.

She fell earlier and I held onto her longer than I should, now the dancing and the inappropriate way I was talking to her, at least I shut myself up. I need to stick to my word and be two on holiday for company and nothing more, even though it's tempting, she is something special anyone can see that but her?

Cole POV

I was wondering what was troubling Mitch, he looked confused, should we talk about it? Or maybe not, in case he could read my mind and wants to tell me to be realistic that It would only be a dream, he doesn't find me attractive.

Mitch came back with the drinks nothing more was said, part of me was disappointed but tried to forget about it and enjoyed the evening.
The next morning, I was sleeping when I felt something tickling my face, I awoke with a smile on my face, realizing I was face to face with Mitch.

"What? the..." "sorry to wake you but I need to get into town soon before our next adventure?" "okay, I will not take long, can I ask what we are going to do today" "no, it’s a surprise" "I like surprises" "really?"

"Yes" "well get ready Jimmy is outside waiting " he winked at me, he was good looking even in the morning, that should be a crime and I must look a mess?

I stepped out of my covers in my silk and netted nightdress, I forgot until Mitch's focus was plainly on my body, I looked down and blushed, I tried to cover myself with the cushions on the bottom of my bed.

"Sorry, I don't normally dress like this it’s all down to Georgina" "what your normally naked" he's teasing me, "no, stop it you know what I meant" "yes I do, but I love seeing you get embarrassed"

"You’re a mean person, I hope you know that, out so I can change" "yes mam"

Mitch reached the bedroom door, he turns around to face me, "by the way, I like your friend’s choice of PJs " then he was gone, he left me feeling flustered.

It didn't take long for me to change I decided on jeans and a shirt and put a jumper on as well not sure where Mitch was taking me, converse and a jacket and put her hair up in messy bun.

I walked downstairs to see Mitch talking to Jimmy, "hi Jimmy" "hello Miss Andrews"

"call me Cole" "alright are we ready" we started to walk outside "this surprise, am I wearing the right clothes Mitch" "yeah perfect, now let's go"

Jimmy drove into town to a shop selling surf boards, canoes, swimming gear, called Seaworthy surf shop. "Coming in with me"

"ok" Mitch walked in holding my hand guiding me to the wetsuits, "chose one you like and try it on as we need one for today"

I looked at the line of wetsuits on the wall, most of them were black, but there was one two tone black and red, I liked the thought that Mitch liked me in the red dress the first time we met, so I chose that one to try on. I went into a cubicle to try on the wetsuit, it fitted perfectly so I quickly changed back and walked to the counter where Mitch stood.

"Is that the one you want" "yes" "we will take that too"
I could have melted when he said we, I was getting more pathetic by the day, first him holding my hand felt good, red in the wetsuit, if Georgina could hear her, she probably slap me.
"No, I will pay for the wetsuit" "this is not up for discussion, this my surprise for you" he sounded bossy.

"You sound very intimidating Mr. Clark, I can only imagine what your like in a boardroom" I smiled, "boardroom or bedroom? Because I can be aggressive in both" he smirked he always had the upper hand, I blushed yet again.

"Here's your card sir" a young boy behind the counter gave Mitch his card back, "thank you"

We walked back to the car, Mitch put the bag in the boot. And we sat in the back of the car.

Jimmy started to drive. "I shouldn't have teased you in the shop" "It's fine, it doesn't take a lot to tease me" " I've noticed"

"Thank you for buying me the wetsuit and taking me today, I am really enjoying my weekend" "It's a wetsuit, you don't need to thank me, and today I'm going to enjoy this too remember?"

"I think you're wrong?" "me, I'm offended no one ever tells me I'm wrong?" Mitch put's his serious mask on, I couldn't help giggle.

"It's manners to thank someone that buys you anything, it's only right" Is that true no one has?”

"Well you're welcome I'm just not use to that?" He scratches his chin "and yeah no one tells me I'm wrong except my Mom, Dad who I don't listening to and Blake sometimes who I also don't listening to"

I wondered what he meant about not use to that? Whatever did he mean, he could be very crypt on times. "Now you can add me to your list" I smiled.
I felt I was flirting a little but couldn't help it, I wondered about other lists that I could possibly be on of his and shook my head, I should stop daydreaming about possibilities that were never going to happen,
otherwise it’s going to be torture for my mind and soul. "Yes you can" he smiled.

"Any clues to where we are going?" "you'll have to wait and see" " not just one" "yes we bought a wetsuit" "funny, you're very mean Mr. Clark" "am I now, it will only be another twenty minutes to our destination, quite the inpatient girl aren't we" "I'm excited, don't hold it against me" I pouted

He smiled, "what?" "nothing, just I like being around you, you're a breath of fresh air" I blushed yet again, he could be nice and make me hope sometimes, but let’s try and change the subject although I loved what he said I didn't know how to react.

"Only twenty minutes away" "yes"
Mitch didn't say anything after, he seemed quiet, maybe I should have reacted, did he want that?

The car stopped at a graveled car park, I stepped out to see a sign post with 'Glumagan Na Sithichean' in smaller writing underneath it read Fairy pools.

"Fairy Pools?" "yes, we have to walk to get there? Glad it’s not raining, it’s not a great day but it will do" Jimmy opened the boot for Mitch.

Mitch took the wetsuits out of the shopping bags and put them in a duffle bag, and put it on his shoulder, "ready?" "yes"

The views were beautiful from the Black Cuillins as Mitch was a perfect tour guide he might be reading it off his phone but he made it interesting made me smile and feel warm, that he went to so much trouble.

We went over river crossings and walked on stepping stones, we reached a very large rock boulder in a random place I thought, If Mitch could read my thoughts.

"It was left here when the ice melted at the end of the ice age" "wow, imagine what this rock have seen, if only it could talk" he smiled "what?"
"I'm just imaging what goes you’re through head?" " It's nothing worth knowing" "I don't know, it might be interesting" I shook my head, "shall we"

"The first waterfall you see there is the start of the fairy pools" "are we staying here?"

I could see Mitch still walking away, "no, we will try the next one"
The next waterfall had a shallower pool, clear blue water, with a natural arch it was beautiful. "Do you like?" "I love it"
