Reminiscing on Bad Memories

A few hours had passed since Ender's interrogation of Lucile, who was now waiting in Luna's room by her bed. She sat there, not sure of what to do, before seeing that Luna's tails had began glowing an icy blue. Is she... awake? Moments later, she saw that Luna had began to turn towards her door before noticing Lucile was waiting for her.

"You came back, Lucile?" she asked, having fully recovered from the explosion. She noticed the tears welling up in her eyes before Luna hugged her. "It's okay, I forgive you. We were young then, you didn't know what would happen. You're alright," she whispered, trying to comfort her.

"No, it's not okay, Luna! I almost killed you!" Lucile almost screamed back between her quiet sobs. "What would they have done if you died because of me? Do you think that Ender and Johann would've even let me get close enough to apologize about it?" They both were fully aware of how the two operated, but decided to not include that for obvious reasons.

She grabbed Lucile with her tails before telling her, "With a Crazy Diamond and The World combo that's Enzefer, and whatever other things the others can do, I'm sure I can convince you that I'll be fine. You're more of a big sister than Clair is, somehow, even though we're technically the same person." She looked towards the door, feeling the presence of both Ender and Enderia, who seemed to be having their own conversation.

"Dude, how many times do I have to tell you, Lucile isn't a bad person?!" Enderia asked him loudly, trying to get him to change his view on her. "You're only focusing on the bad part of things. Don't be like how Kurin is!"

Ender only responded by saying, "You don't know what I've gone through with her. She could've died because of a completely different reason." His eyes had began to gloss over slightly before he began to walk away.  "I'm sorry, but if you want me to believe that Lucile did that completely by accident,  you better have some solid proof." He hadn't noticed that both Luna and Lucile had both stepped out of the room.

"If neither of us can prove to you that it was an accident," Lucile began, her face still covered in dried streaks.

"You'll never reach the truth," Luna finished, mimicking what he and Johann had done at the train station a week ago. "I mean, at some point you'll see something that'll change your mind, so why not try to get it out of the way?" He huffed and turned around, then saw that Liliana had joined them.

"Please, Ender. What do I gain from lying to you? What do we gain from it?" Lucile asked, her voice slightly trembling. She heard a soft sigh before he latched to the wall and began walking towards them.

"If I'm to trust you, no more bombs, including any that might help us," Ender replied coldly. Lucile nodded. "Alright, if that's all you wanted, I'm going back downstairs to talk to my dad a bit more before he goes." Within seconds, he sank through the floor and fell to the living room, where the others were talking.

"...and I still can't believe she used Killer Queen and Megumin for that!" Tenosha was saying, ignoring Johann's groans of annoyance. "I'm sorry, but it just bothers me!"

Taylor exclaimed, "We get it, dad! Now can we move the topic to something else?" The room went silent for a few seconds before they noticed that Leon's pet ghost bat began flying around. When Ender saw it, he ran and hid behind a few shelves before bursting into tears. Stella had watched where he went and loosely followed him. By the time she found him, his facial fur was very damp.

"Did seeing the bat remind you of someone you know?" she asked, fully aware of how he would take the question. What she hadn't expected was him grabbing her arm with his tails and pulling her through the shelf. Before she crashed into it, she transformed into her temporary cat form and phased through, only to see Ender's fur was rapidly changing from purple to black and back again.

"You were awake when I was talking to Luna, weren't you?" he whispered, his voice dropping. "Please, Stella, don't ask me to talk about Azazel anymore." She apologized, but she pushed on.

"I'm sorry, I really am, Enzy. But... I really want to know more... about Azazel." He looked away, tears still falling freely.

"Let me tell you the story of Azazel Witicker."
