So, to sum up, we were lost, in the middle of a city we didn’t know, with no money and no cell phones and no one to help us. We were freaking out! We tried to get inside the arena again to look for our purses, but the main entrance was locked and there was nobody there. I was about to start crying when Lucy had a great idea: we should try to get in from the back! We were hoping there would be at least someone from the security there to help us, it was the only way we could get out of there!

It was already late, so it was really dark and we could barely see where we were going. To be honest it felt like we were walking in circles and would never get anywhere, but neither of us wanted to admit that. It was better to try and end up on the same place we started than to just sit down and cry, which was our other option. We walked for a while, and when we were very close to following our second plan, we saw a guy sitting on a bench with his head lying on his hands. He seemed really upset, and I really didn’t want to bother him, but there was nobody else around, so he was our only hope.

“Hey!” I yelled. I was a little scared as he was a complete stranger, but we kept walking towards him. He didn’t even move, he just sat there pretending he didn’t hear anything and probably wishing we were talking to someone else, even though it was pretty clear he was the only one there.

From where we were standing, all I could see was his brown curly hair, covering the part of his face that wasn’t hidden by his hands. He was wearing a white shirt and some dark blue jeans, with white converse matching the shirt. That image seemed extremely familiar to me somehow. I started to wonder how he wasn’t freezing out there. Maybe he was lost too. Maybe he had nowhere to go just like us! That thought brought back all the fear I had of not being able to go home very soon.

I quickly looked at Lucy and I could see she was scared, but that was our only chance. As we got closer, he started fixing his hair with his hands, still not looking towards us. Maybe wishing we hadn’t seen him? Suddenly, I had no doubt.

“Harry?” I said, surprised. “Is that you?”

He looked up and I could see the pain in his eyes. It instantly got to me. I didn’t know what it was about him, but seeing him sad always made me feel miserable inside. I felt the need to go sit next to him and give him a hug, say everything would be okay, no matter what it was. But I had to control myself. I knew him pretty well, but I was aware I was a complete stranger to him after all.

“Who are you?” He said, slowly and coldly.

“I’m sorry, we were at the concert, but we left our stuff inside and now we’re stuck here with nowhere to go.”

“I can’t help you, go find someone else.” And he went back to the position he was before, lying his head on his hand and pretending we were never there.

Suddenly I realized… I was talking to Harry Styles! The one I always dreamed about, the one I thought would change my life forever, the one I always imagined to have a perfect fairytale with. Yes, I was talking to him, and to be honest, he was being a jerk!
