The Sleepover

The whole KOTLC gang hanging out! This is a Sokeefe story, and I'm not totally sure when it takes place, but Sophie is 15 or 16. I hope you enjoy! ;)

My Elvin History homework was especially boring tonight. I mean it wasn't hard, not with my photographic memory, but the mind-numbing task of writing pages on gnome history could not be described as "fun". I sighed, letting my tired head fall to the table. Most girls my age wouldn't be spending their Friday nights stuck up in their rooms doing page upon page of homework. There was a knock at my bedroom door,

"Sophie, are you okay in there?" Sandor said in his squeaky voice. Oh, right I wasn't alone. I was with my hulking goblin body guard. I lifted my head from the desk and yelled back at him,

"I'm fine, calm down." He grumbled something back about having constant vigilance. (Mad eye moody ;) Sorry I couldn't resist) I proceeded to stare at the blank piece of paper in front of me. Then a loud ringing caused me to jump out of the stupor I had fell into. It was my imparter; I had carelessly thrown on the bed earlier. I jumped out of my desk chair and reached for it.

The screen said Biana Vacker, which made me smile. Not only did her calling me let me put off the paper, but Biana was my best friend. I clicked the screen of my imparter and her face showed up. Her dark hair was thrown up in a messy bun that managed to look amazing on her and she was grinning.

"Oh my god Sophie, I just had THE best idea!!!" She said enthusiastically, "What are you doing tonight?"

"Umm I was just planning on getting a good part of my homework done," I said hesitantly, still in shock after her exuberant greeting.

"Ugg boring. Well you aren't going to be doing that for much longer! Guess what I have planned for tonight," she practically yelled.

"I have no idea Biana," I said.

"A sleepover!!!! Me, you, Linh, Tam, Keefe, Fitz, and Dex! Wouldn't that be SO much fun?" She said her teal eyes bright with excitement.

"I guess it would be great to hang out all together, we haven't done that in a while," I said still unsure about the idea, "Also have you been drinking coffee?" Her face scrunched up in confusion and she asked,

"What? Coffee?"

"Never mind. It's a human thing," I answered.

"Ok... Well I'll see you at 7:30, my house," she said unfazed.

"Wait. I never said- "

"Don't be late!" She said in a sing song voice, before my imparter went dark. I shook my head at Biana's crazy excitement. I looked over at my clock on the wall, it was 7:10. So I guess I should get ready to go, I had to be there in 20 minutes. It would be fun to hang out with Biana, Fitz, Dex, Linh, Tam, and Keefe. I hadn't seen Keefe in a while and I kind of missed him. At the thought of him my head was filled with images of his sky-blue eyes, thick mess of curly blond hair, and that cute smirk he got when he teased me...Wait what was I thinking? Keefe cute? I rubbed my eyes trying to clear my head of those weird thoughts. I guess I had been doing homework for too long.

Walking to my bedroom door, I opened it to find Sandor hulking next to it. I hurried down the stair, my body guard trailing behind me. In the kitchen Grady and Edaline were sitting on the bar stools, both drinking some bright green fizzy drink. They were talking and laughing, and when Grady saw me, he said,

"Hey kiddo, how's the essay going?" They both turned to me and I replied,

"Eh not so well. But I wanted to ask you if I could go to the Vackers for a sleep over. Biana just invited me."

"Yeah of course honey," Edaline said in a sweet voice. But before I could run upstairs Grady said,

"Hold on. Who's going to be at this sleepover?" I fidgeted knowing he wouldn't like my answer.
