Last Part! This one is in Keefe's POV. The writing isn't great, so sorry about that.

Keefe POV

I sit up, startled to find myself in a dark room that isn't mine. I remember after a moment that I'm in the healing center. Sophie had been here with me. Just me and her. I had almost told her that I liked her. Now I mentally smacked myself for chickening out. I should have just told her.

"Hey, you're finally awake," Elwin says, walking into the room, and flicking on a light. I blink trying to get used to the bright light.

"What time is it?" I mumble, still waking up.

"Nearly eight. How are you feeling?"

"It's already eight oclock?" I ask, shocked. It feels like it couldn't have been asleep for more than an hour. I was having the strangest dream...

"You slept for a while. How are you feeling?" Elwin asked again.

"Fine," I said, still trying to recall everything that had happened in my dream. It had started out as a nightmare. I was at Everglen, but none of the Vackers were there. Instead my mom was. I never saw her but I knew she was right on my heels. I kept trying to get away from her but all the doors were locked. She kept saying "You can't escape your legacy Keefe."

Then all of the sudden there was a clap of thunder and a hole opened up in the ground. I fell into it, but I wasn't scared I felt completely safe, even though I was free falling. Eventually I hit the ground. I was in this meadow and I just lay there for a while. Then I saw Sophie lean over me and kiss me on the forehead. She disappeared shortly after and when I sat up and looked around she was nowhere to be seen. Wait. Where was Sophie now? I looked around the room but she wasn't here.

"Where's Sophie?" I asked Elwin.

"She left when I got back, about four hours ago," he replied.

"Oh yeah, of course."

"You should get home, Your dad's probably worried." Elwin said. Yeah right, I thought. Like my dad would ever wait up for me to come home.

"Okay. Bye Elwin," I said absentmindedly. I grabbed my bag and headed for the door.

"Wait, Keefe, do you mind returning this book to Sophie, she left it behind," he said, holding up the Elementalism book.

"Uh sure." I grabbed it and was on my way.

That night when I was trying to get to sleep I couldn't stop thinking about that dream. I smiled, recalling Sophie's gentle kiss on my forehead. Tomorrow I would tell her. Tomorrow I would tell her that I have feelings for her. That I had been in love with her for years. Tomorrow, I thought as I drifted off, just as I had every night of the past month.
